BetCasa is a relatively new online casino that was supposed to bring a fresh and unique approach into online gambling. At least this is what we thought when we first landed on its website – the nifty and well-though layout raised the bar significantly. Next, the company behind this house is also fully regulated and licensed so we breathed a sigh of relief.
Unfortunately, from now on things went downhill. Even though we really had high hopes the casino in question can actually barely make the grade. In fact, the promotional campaigns are rather lackluster and come with modest rewards. The gaming library is also incapable of sweeping you off your feet – to be honest it’s rather run-off-the-mill just because there is a small range of game providers that power the titles. The payment methods are also quite limited and there is some essential information missing so things so far really seem kind of incomplete. We don’t know if this is due to this casino’s new found status or what, but it better put itself together if it doesn't want to push players away. For now, here’s what you can expect from BetCasa:
Bonuses
As you can see, there are only two types of bonuses – one Welcome offer and a Loyalty Program which comes with some rewards and other benefits along with that. Still, no additional promotions are available – no weekly or weekend offerings, no cash-backs, not even one Tournament. The whole selection seems discouraging, especially if you look at the rewards themselves. To be precise, the prizes are nothing to get excited about and also come with some withdrawal restrictions we are not particularly happy about. At least the overall bonus conditions are up to the mark – there are low minimum deposits and reasonable wagering requirements.
In addition, note that not only all bonuses, but the whole website’s currency is in Brazilian Real. On the other hand, the general Terms and Conditions use Euro, so things seem a bit complicated. Anyway, here are the promotional campaigns themselves:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Bonus | 30 BRL | 100% up to 300 BRL | 30x | x10 |
Loyalty Program | Unspecified | 210 BRL | 1x | x10 |
The Welcome Bonus comes with 100% up to 300 BRL which is around €50 at the time of writing. No free spins are included though. As you see, the maximum cash reward is pretty mediocre – a €50 of first deposit bonus can hardly make any difference. Not to mention that most of the houses nowadays tend to provide welcome offers up to €500 or even €1000 so the prize here really starts to seem too poor. On the positive side, the multiplier is pretty decent since it will double your investment. Another good news is that the qualifying deposit is also rather affordable. In order to claim this promotion you need to invest at least 30 BRL or around €5 according to the current exchange rates. This is actually much lower compared to the standards for the sector (around €20) so we are pleased with it. The wagering requirement of x30 also managed to fit the bill perfectly. To be exact, the usual amounts are between x30 and x40 wagers. In this case you need to make at least 30 turnovers of your deposit and bonus before being eligible to perform any payouts. Not only that but you have a maximum of 7 days in order to use the bonus and complete the wagers, otherwise both the reward and all generated winnings will be voided. And finally, as the casino states, if you wish to place a withdrawal after the wagering requirements have been met, you must note that the maximum withdrawal amount after its wagering is 10 times from the initial bonus amount. If not, BetCasa reserves the right to write off the remaining balance. Overall, this is not the first time we stumble across such a restriction, but still – the condition seems rather unfair and unfavorable, so we definitely give it a thumbs down.
Apart from that, just as you know, in its Terms and Conditions the casino states that the maximum winnings amount per day/24 hours is €100000. Any winnings above said maximum amount may be canceled.
Next is the Loyalty program. Apparently, all you have to do is to play your favorite games from Monday to Sunday and earn points. Once you reach 250 points you will enter the Loyalty Membership and will be eligible to receive rewards ranging from 50 BRL to 210 BRL (or between €10 and €40) depending on your point achievements. Again, the prizes themselves don’t seem to be inspiring or whatsoever, but are probably still better than nothing. As for how to get started, note that each point is equivalent to €0.5 wagered. Still, there’s a catch, unfortunately. Apparently, after the end of each week, players' scores are reset to zero and the next week's scores restart accumulating again. This means that users must spend their collected points before the reset each Sunday or they will lose them. Any attempt to withdraw your bonus requires at least 1 turnover of it before being allowed to actually cash-out the amount. Apart from that here are the different levels and the rewards they come with:
- Silver level – as we mentioned already in order to kick off, you need to reach at least 250 points. Ranking at this level will get you 50 BRL or around €10.
- Gold level – in order to get here you need between 501 and 1000 points. The reward is said to be 100 BRL or around €20 at the time of writing.
- Platinum level – this one requires between 1001 and 2000 points and comes with 160 BRL of casino bonus (around €30).
- Diamond level – in order to reach the highest level you need at least 2000 points or more. The prize here is said to be 210 BRL or around €40 according to the current exchange rates.
License
BetCasa is owned and operated by Sunseven N.V., established under the laws of Curacao. Apparently the company is also issued a legit license by Antillephone N.V. – one of the four master license holders authorized by the Government of Curacao. You can see the dynamic seal looking like the regulator’s logo at the bottom of the page. Clicking on it leads to the license itself.
What amazed us however was that according to the website Sunseven N.V is regulated by Curacao eGaming, which is among the other companies authorized by the Government. We don’t know the reason for this misunderstanding – if it’s an unintentional slip or what, but it seems confusing. Still, the digital seal of Antillephone N.V. is truly legit so we can verify this casino’s credibility. Here’s the legal document itself:
No matter the regulator, it’s of utmost importance to choose a licensed and reputable casino that can ensure your safety and the quality of the services. Curacao is one pretty popular jurisdiction in the field – in fact the majority of online gambling houses are regulated there. The four master license holders are Antillephone N.V., Gaming Curacao, eGaming Curacao, and Curacao Interactive Licensing, so no matter which one oversees the enterprise it’s always a good choice. Here are some of the benefits of dealing with a Curacao licensed casino:
- As a beginning, your personal data is well protected by advanced encryption technology – not only your private data such as name, address, and ID, but also your banking details are in safe hands. No money laundering or identity theft are possible as well mainly because of the many anti-deceit measures the houses must implement.
- Responsible gaming tools must be provided to each player in order to create healthy gambling habits and to prevent gambling addiction. In other words every user should be able to set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits, wager limits, to limit the time spent in gambling a.k.a session limits, and also to self-execute himself from a specific period of time. It could be a cooling off period like a couple of days or a longer interval such as a month or more. In this case, BetCasa claims that self-exclusion tools are provided on the website to allow players to manage how they play. To be exact, players can choose to self-exclude to prevent themselves from playing for a period of time or permanently. The player account will be automatically enabled again once the chosen period expires.
- Next, all games must be fair and completely unpredictable. This means that the outcome of each game must be 100% genuine and unbiased – in order to achieve that all licensed casinos must use random number generators (RNGs).
- Reliable payment methods are another essential part of every reputable online casino. In short, all transactions must be lightning fast, smooth and with no troubles ahead.
- And finally, you should always be able to benefit from a professional and prompt customer support services. In this case there is email support, as well as 24/7 live chat.
As for the website itself, it’s available in just two languages, have a look:
Languages: English, Portuguese
And here’s the list of restricted countries – if you are a resident of any of them, you certainly won’t be allowed to gamble here:
Restricted countries: American Samoa, Aruba, Australia, Belarus, Belize, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, China, Curaçao, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Saint Martin (French part), Sint Maarten (Dutch part), United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
Currencies: Brazilian Real (BRL), Canadian Dollar (CAD)
Unfortunately BetCasa works with a pretty limited range of banking options. To be precise, you can count only on Astropay and PIX payments, but no traditional options are available such as credit/debit cards or bank transfers. Apart from that no additional online payments are to be found either – like for example several alternatives like Mifinity, Skrill, Netellr, or Jeton definitely wouldn’t hurt. And finally, the last major thing that seems to be missing are cryptocurrencies, which are an eminent part of almost every online casino nowadays.
So all in all, the selection of available options is quite limited so this is one thing you should take into account. The other one is that the minimum withdrawal amounts are unknown which is a serious slip if you ask us. But for that in a second. Let’s start with the deposit methods:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
PIX | 10 BRL | 540000 BRL | Instant | Free |
AstroPay | 10 BRL | 540000 BRL | Instant | Free |
As we said, in order to top up your balance you can use either PIX or Astropay. The minimum is fixed at 10 BRL or around €2 and that’s a pretty low entry point for sure. Especially compared to the usual minimum deposits of around €20, the conditions here seem to be top-notch.
As for the maximum a player is allowed to deposit, it’s said to be up to 540 000 BRL or around €100000 per day/ 24 hours.
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
PIX | Unspecified | 540000 BRL | up to 3 days | Free |
AstroPay | Unspecified | 540000 BRL | up to 3 days | Free |
As we pointed out already, the minimum withdrawal is not specified. Usually most of the houses tend to ask for around €10 or €20, but some of them go higher than that by requiring up to €40. Nevertheless just beware that any amount higher than that is hardly going to be in your best interests.
Furthermore, the player may only withdraw the maximum amount of 540 000 BRL or around €100000 in any 24 hour period, and that’s a pretty generous amount for sure.
In addition to that, all withdrawals are said to be processed within 1-3 days of initial request, which is a rather standard period of time.
Apart from that also beware that before a player can make a withdrawal of funds, they must provide proof of their identity and address. To be exact, the casino may request this in the form of scanned copies of a state-issued ID card, passport and a recent utility bill or bank statement.
And in order to be eligible to withdraw your funds, keep in mind that you’ll have to make at least 1 turnover of your deposit. The standard rollover requirement is between x1 and x3 so the conditions here are on point. On the other hand, in most of the cases some houses tend to apply an administrative fee of around 10% in case you don’t manage to meet the requirement. In this case however, BetCasa doesn’t mention anything in that regard.
Another rule that seems to be missing is the Inactive Account policy. Usually most of the houses tend to consider any account that has not been used for 6 or 12 consecutive months as inactive. As a result there’s usually a monthly administrative fee of around €5 or €10. Still, in this case BetCasa doesn’t mention anything on the topic so we are not sure if there is such a rule at all and if yes what the conditions might be. So stay on guard just in case and keep an eye on your account activeness.
Games and game suppliers
BetCasa partners with around 40 game suppliers which is not a bad amount but definitely not the best out there. In fact some of the best online gambling houses tend to work with more than 80 brands, sometimes even 100, so the selection here seems rather mediocre.
On the positive side, you can still see some prominent figures here such as Pragmatic Play, Wazdan, Evolution, NetEnt, and PG Soft, so the range is not a total disaster. Nevertheless, just keep in mind that many iconic software developers are also missing like for example Play’n Go, BGaming, Playson, Yggdrasil, or Microgaming to name a few. Here’s the full list of the brands that actually power the games here:
Game providers: 1x2gaming, Leap-Gaming, Habanero, Triple Cherry, BetGames.tv, Espresso Games, Gamefish Global, Wazdan, PragmaticPlay, NetEnt, Evolution, Concept Gaming, KA Gaming, PGSoft, Betsolutions, Iron Dog Studio, Spade Gaming, BeeFee, Belatra, Evoplay, Leander, Tvbet, Gamzix, Vibra Gaming, Macaw Gaming, Red Tiger Gaming, Spribe, Kalamba, Tom Horn, Booming Games, Big Time Gaming
As we mentioned at the very beginning, we liked the gaming lobby the moment we landed on it. There’s a pretty good diversity of categories such as All games, Recommended, Favorites, Featured, Video Poker, Slots, Table games, Live Casino, Crash games, Top games, and Bingo for example. Apart from that the whole layout is rather basic, but well organized and easy to navigate, so we appreciate that.
- The Slots menu seems to be rather varied and loaded with many trendy titles. Even though some beloved games are missing, on the other hand you can still enjoy a decent range of popular ones such as Gates of Olympus, Sweet Bonanza, Big Bass Bonanza, Starburst, Gonzo’s Guest, Sugar Rush, 5 Lions, Golden Lamp, 9 Pots of Gold, Hot Chilli, Golden New World, Royal Crown, Magic Hunter, Starlight Princess, John Hunter, and Excalibur to name a few.
- The Crash games are not a lot – around 14 to be precise, but still you can find some engaging content like Aviator, Spaceman, Rocketman, Moto Mania, and Extreme Mines.
- The Table games are actually almost decent. You can find around 120 titles in this category, which despite not being great, is still acceptable. Among some of the most interesting table activities you can spot European Roulette, Blackjack Multihand, Single Hand Blackjack, Ultimate Baccarat, Andar Bahar, Texas Hold’em Poker, Dragon Tiger, Jack Poker, Blackjack Lucky Sevens, Oasis Poker, Teen Patti, Caribbean Stud Poker, Video Poker, Baccarat Deluxe, Baccarat Punto Banco, American Roulette, Sic Bo, and Gold Roulette for example.
- The Live Casino games are definitely more diverse and engaging than the previous category. This time you have around 380 titles at your disposal, powered by iconic game suppliers such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play, or Tvbet to name a few. As for the games themselves, here are some of our top picks – Crazy Time, Speed Blackjack, Andar Bahar, Immersive Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, Deal or No Deal, Crash or Crash, Crazy Coin Flip, Lightning Roulette, Lightning Dice, Speed Baccarat, Dream Catcher, Monopoly Live, Red Door Roulette, First Person Baccarat, Side Bet City, Teen Patti, Video Poker, Snakes and Ladders, Mega Roulette, Azure Blackjack, Keno, and Ruby Blackjack.
No Sports betting is available at the time of writing, even though the casino claims to prepare a Sports Bonus section, so we suggest keeping an eye on the website. It’s possible that BetCasa might launch a Sportsbook any time soon!
Conclusion
As a brand new online casino BetCasa definitely has some good qualities so we consider it to have a good potential. Yet, we are about to see if it will make a hit or not. Everything depends on whether the house in question will expand and enhance its offerings. For now we appreciate the sleek website and its legit e-gaming license but unfortunately this isn’t enough to call it a first-rate casino. Just think about the modest and lackluster promotions, the limited range of payment methods, or the small selection of game suppliers and you’ll get the picture. Overall, if you are fine with what you can get here – go ahead! BetCasa seems like a reliable spot to spend time gambling. If not however, we suggest looking for an alternative instead.
