Bitz Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

Bitz Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

Bitz Casino is seemingly a Russian house that's below any accepted standards. We consider it Russian for it's available only in Russian and English languages, accepts only Russian payment methods for fiat money (maybe) and it filled our browser with cookies of Yandex. That's why we think it's a Russian piece of work.

But why we say it's below all accepted standards. Well, the reasons are many starting with the malfunctioning website that really got on our nerves after just a few minutes of browsing. The main problem is that if you don't clear the website's cookies every 5 minutes or so, entire sections will begin disappearing. A proof of it is seen in the picture below – at one point the entire Bonus page showed a message it's empty.

And that's not all. After another couple of minutes browsing, the lobby disappeared, too, as no game would load, even the featured images. It got fixed when we cleared the cookies, but that's not how things should work. We expect from casinos to come with impeccable websites, and the pages of Bitz Casino are a reason enough to abandon this gaming house. Why would you waste your time in a website that may crash any time soon? That potentially means losses, doesn't it?

Another problem with the site – you'll be left with no methods of funding if you choose any currency different from cryptos. During sign up, we picked US dollars, and guess what? When we went to make our first deposit we were greeted with the message “Payments are not available. Please try again later.” We created another account in BTC, and when we got to the deposit page, it turned out that BTC is the only accepted method for us! The cashier of Bitz Casino is a total failure, just like the casino, as a matter of fact.

By now, we talked about a few problems, but the issues are many more, including the unverified license, the unattractive bonuses and the missing terms on critical conditions related to deposits/withdrawals. There are some positive things, too, and in this article we will provide you with all the details you need to know about Bitz Casino. The first things are the bonuses.

But before the bonus discussion, see how the bonus page suddenly disappeared and what you may see if you don't clear the cookies of Bitz Casino every five minutes:

Languages: English, Russian

First Deposit Bonus$10100% up to $56045xUnspecified

Bitz Casino has bonuses, that's true. However, the weird messages of “Oh, we have no bonuses” are not the only problem. Once we could see the promos, there were 6 banners, 3 of which related to one bonus, 2 related to another one. The one banner left was about some Level Up promotion, but it revealed absolutely no information whatsoever – no prize, no deposit requirements, no wagering, nothing. So, all in all, there are two deposits only – one welcome bonus and one cashback.

That's not enough. Good casinos usually come with more than 10 promotions, both for new and existing players, so in terms of quantity, Bitz Casino is seriously behind. In terms of quality, the size of the bonuses is also higher in other houses, so you have one more reason to dismiss Bitz Casino, and we are just at the beginning of our review. Really, this casino is not good at all. But anyhow, see the bonuses in detail.

  • First Deposit Bonus – for new customers and their first deposits only. The deal is that players can double their money for wagering, as the prize is 100% up to $560. The minimum qualifying deposit is just $10, so the bonus is affordable – we have at least one positive aspect in this casino. The wagering requirement, however, is slightly higher than usual – 45 times required by Bitz Casino, while the good casinos will be happy with 30 to 40 times on average. Not a big problem, but still a noteworthy fact. Cash-out limits are not specified.
  • Cashback – a poorly specified promotion. The only thing we know is that players can return 5% of their losses for the week. Deposit conditions are not specified, as well as wagering requirements and cash-out limits.

And that's basically it. Only two promos, one of which is poorly specified and related to losses. We can't be happy, as there aren't reloads, mystery bonuses, anniversary, free spins or anything else. Bitz Casino's bonus policy is inferior.

The picture at the bottom of this section shows claims according to which, Bitz Casino is a licensed casino authorised in Curacao by Gaming Curacao (master license 365/JAZ). Great, but we didn't have a chance to verify those claims.

The standard for license verification in online gaming is that the house will put a licensing seal usually in the footer of the website – that's what all legit casinos do, and especially those in Curacao. Once players clicks on the seal, they are taken to a verification page where automated validation is executed – if the casino is licensed, you see it immediately so that you can rest assured you will play in a legit casino.

Well, Bitz Casino has no such seal, so an immediate verification is impossible. We searched and tried other methods for verification, but in vain. At the end of the day, it's unclear whether Bitz Casino is licensed or not. The claims seen below may be false, who knows? If Bitz was a serious casino, it would do the necessary to legitimise itself. It didn't so we may also consider it an unauthorised house. See why it's not a good idea to go and play in such casinos:

  • No regulation – unlicensed casinos are not regulated by any authority, meaning there's no guarantee that the games are fair or that the casino will let you withdraw your money. It's unlicensed, which means that no one can make them follow any rules.
  • Security – unlicensed casinos may not have strong security measures protecting players' personal and financial information.
  • Legal issues – gambling at an unlicensed casino can be illegal depending on your country's laws. Therefore, you may face legal consequences if you wager in unlicensed casinos.
  • No disputes – if you have problems with an unlicensed casino, you have no way to initiate a dispute since they are not accountable to any regulatory bodies.
  • Unethical practices – unlicensed casinos might employ unethical practices, like offering rigged games or using deceptive advertising. And since they are unregulated, no one can stop them from being unfair with players.
  • Addiction and financial risks – unlicensed casinos might not offer responsible gambling tools, such as self-exclusion, for example. If you end up wagering in an unlicensed casino, the risks are definitely increased. More so, some unlicensed casino intentionally promote and encourage irresponsible playing.

As for Curacao, where Bitz Casino is allegedly licensed, the country has an unique approach when it comes to casino licensing. Online establishments and bookmakers in Curacao are not licensed and regulated by the local gaming authorities directly, but four independent companies do so on behalf of the government – Antillephone, E-Gaming, CIL and Gaming Curacao. Each licensor company is responsible to sub-license and supervise online casinos, which guarantees that all rules and regulations are followed strictly.

It is often viewed that the supervision in Curacao is not as strong because of this approach, but certain benefits are there, as well. The capacity increases since there are four licensors instead of only one, and the overall procedure is seen as more efficient. Also, the licensing process and subsequent control become cheaper and quicker, which gives more flexibility to casinos. Generally, if you’re looking for a casino with extra bonuses and possibly a bigger choice of slot games, you might want to pick one licensed in Curacao.

The deposit policy of Bitz Casino is bad. We already told you about the ridiculous situation that players who open USD accounts won't be able to deposit at all. That's just a scratch of the surface, though, since only cryptocurrencies are accepted. Two problems here. First of all, crypto deposits are final and non-refundable, so if it happens that you aren't satisfied with Bitz Casino, you won't be able to get a chargeback or refund. That's impossible.

Another problem, since the legitimacy of Bitz Casino is unverified, that may mean the casino is unlicensed. And if it is, you will have no way to raise a dispute if things go wrong for you. Be careful with Bitz Casino. It's potentially risky.

Minimum and maximum deposits are also not specified, so more problems here – critical TCs are missing, meaning a lack of transparency. We want all casinos to be as fair and transparent as possible, and Bitz Casino doesn't deliver on that. That's not good.

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
CryptoUnspecifiedUnspecifiedup to 24 hoursUnspecified

Same for withdrawals. Only cryptos, and nothing specified – no minimum, no maximum, no withdrawal limits, no fees mentioned. The only thing revealed is that withdrawal requests are processed instantly, or within 24 hours in the worst case. Do we believe them? Of course not. The casino claims to be licensed, but cannot prove it, so we cannot take anything they say for granted.

Anyways, at least the alleged rollover is good – 0.3 times for crypto and 3 times for fiat. This means that all deposits in cryptocurrencies should be wagered 1/3 times, which is good. As for fiat, though, we don't think that's worth being mentioned since the casino doesn't really accept any other method than crypto.

And lastly in this section, more critical conditions related to gaming are missing – the inactivity policy. The good casinos will always designate the requirements for accounts that are not active. The standard is that a fee of €5 to €10 will apply after 6 to 12 months no login. Bitz Casino is silent and reveals nothing about inactive accounts.

The lobby is the only point where Bitz Casino is not so bad. They work with some leading providers like Pragmatic, Play'n GO and Wazdan, to name a few, so the games in the casino are of good quality. And there is variety, too, as slots, live casino and sports betting are offered.

That said, we shall also tell you that every good casino will offer slots from the same providers, so we still don't see a reason to go and waste your time in a place with unverified license, terrible payment policy, unattractive bonuses and malfunctioning website (from time to time). But since we are here, let us discuss the lobby:

  • Slots – more than 5000, and it's true, Bitz Casino offers some of the best slots like Gates of Olympus, Aviator by Spribe, Sweet Bonanza, Book of Dead and others. New slots include the following ones: Strawberry Cocktail, Most Wanted, Bet The Beast, Fist Of Destruction, Fire In The Hole 2, Bit Bite, Book Of Conquistador, Night Wolf Frozen Flames, Ricko Galactico, Undefeated Xerxes, Book Of Hercules A Legendary Quest, Cashablanca, Cash Strike, Wins Of Mermaid Multipower, Pompeii Megareels Megaways, Lucky 8 Merge Up, Rise Of Zeus and more.
  • Bonus Buy – 1037 games altogether, including Sweet Bonanza, Gates Of Olympus, Sugar Rush, Zeus VS Hades Gods Of War, Twilight Princess, Infective Wild,  Big Bass Amazon Extreme, Gravity Bonanza, Demon Pots and so on.
  • Live Casino – 252 games, excluding Games Shows – that's a noteworthy fact since the latter have their own dedicated section. In Live Casino, players will find real dealer tables of all the popular classic table games like Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Poker, Bac Bo, Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger and even more.
  • Game Shows – 30 altogether, which is a decent number. See some: Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Cricket War, Lightning Roulette, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Funky Time Live, Crazy Coin Flip, Mega Wheel, Deal or No Deal, Snakes and Ladders Live, etc.
  • Sports Betting – Bitz Casino offers sports betting and the platform looks pretty. The offerings, however, are below standards. For example, only 237 sporting events are present in Football, which is nothing compared to other houses. Recently, we reviewed a casino with more than 1200 matches in Football, so you can see the difference.

Bitz Casino suffers from very serious issues beginning from the crashing website, going past the unverified license and ending with the totally unacceptable payment policy together with the ignorant cashier. The bonuses of the casino doesn't impress, too, and the only positive thing about Bitz Casino happens to be the gaming library. That, however, is not enough in 2024. Literally hundreds of casinos will offer the same games and more, so nothing really changes. Bitz Casino remains a poor casino that you'd better not visit. It would be a waste of time for you.
