Casino Sky Review: Scam or Safe?

Casino Sky Review: Scam or Safe?

Casino Sky is a gaming house with a very nice and appealing theme, so players will definitely feel themselves as in a real casino. That said, however, we shall warn you straight from the very beginning about a few critical aspects of Casino Sky. First off, it's an unlicensed casino, which seriously harms its overall rating. Another thing we shall immediately tell is that the casino imposes some totally unacceptable gaming conditions that can seriously damage your overall experience, if you choose to wager there. Long story short, Casino Sky is not a safe and fair place, and in the following review, we'll explain why.

Welcome Bonus€20200% up to €600 + 250 spins40xUnspecified
Reload Bonus€20100% up to €20040xUnspecified

The bonus policy of Casino Sky is below average. They offer only 2 promotions – a welcome bonus and a reload, that's all. The good news is that plenty of free spins are included in the welcome package, but that certainly doesn't compensate for a lack of variety. More so, the reload is available only for a week – between 28 September and 06 October 2023, so you cannot claim it on a weekly or monthly basis, as it's usually the case. Good casinos give you the opportunity to get bonuses every single week, at least once. Casino Sky, however, has turned its reload promotion into a one-time event, and we don't fancy this approach.

Welcome Bonus – the welcoming offer seems lucrative. The prize is 200% up to €600 and unlocks with a deposit of €20 or more. In addition to that, up to 250 free spins may be included, but the number you can get will depend on the size of your deposit. The wagering requirement for both cash prize and free spins is 40 times the bonus. See the conditions for the FS:

  • Deposit €20 to get 50 FS: 50 on Book of Imhotep.
  • Deposit €40 to get 100 FS: 50 on Book of Imhotep and 50 on Magic Piggy.
  • Deposit €60 to get 150 FS: 50 on Book of Imhotep, 50 on Magic Piggy, and 50 on Dork Unit.
  • Deposit €80 to get 200 FS: 50 on Book of Imhotep, 50 on Magic Piggy, 50 on Dork Unit, and 50 on Lady's Blessing.
  • Deposit €100 to get 250 FS: 50 on Book of Imhotep, 50 on Magic Piggy, 50 on Dork Unit, 50 on Lady's Blessing, and 50 on Fruit Duel.

Reload Bonus – the reload bonus doesn't have free spins, but the prize is OK for a reload bonus – 100% up to €200. The bad thing in this case, however, is that the reload is a one-off event. After you've claimed the bonus, you can't get it again, meaning there's little reason to stick around the casino once the promo is complete. Anyhow, the wagering requirement is 40 times with no cash-out limits specified.

License

Unfortunately, Casino Sky happens to be a casino operating without a valid license. The license and authorisation are critical aspects, and practically the most important ones. Authorised casinos have a sense of legitimacy, but that's the least we can say. A license guarantees a certain level of safety, as players are safeguarded if some problems occur. Licensed casinos offers only tested and verified slots with proven RTP. Simply put, you know your games will be trustworthy if you are wagering in a licensed casino. That doesn't apply to unlicensed casinos, and that's the least critical problem, we shall say. It often happens that players face issues with deposits and withdrawals, as well, meaning that your money will be at risk if you choose an unlicensed casino. We don't want to say that Casino Sky is an unsafe house. The only thing we mean is that no one can guarantee that Casino Sky is a safe house. Be careful with it.

Speaking of licenses and regulation, there are three countries setting the standards for online casinos. If you are looking for gambling houses that are guaranteed safe, you will most likely come accross gambling houses licensed in the UK, Malta or Curacao, with the largest number coming from the Caribbean island. UKGC in Britain and MGA in Malta are considered the top-tier casino regulators. The Maltese authority  is known to guarantee the protection of minors and vulnerable players, safeguard players’ rights, promote responsible gaming in a safe environment, ensure the integrity of games and gaming devices, and keep gaming free from criminal activities. Casinos authorised by MGA are supervised efficiently, and all the games offered are guaranteed to have certified RTP. All slots are run by RNG (Random Number Generators), which generate completely random and unbiased results, ensuring authenticity and fairness for players during gameplay.

And then, we shall also discuss Curacao and its unique licensing regime. The regulators on the island do not register, license and authorise casinos by themselves, but have delegated the task to private companies. Four such companies are currently in operation – Antillephone, Gaming Curacao, E-Gaming and CIL. They are also known as master holder operators, which sub-license casinos and allow them to offer gaming and wagering. Some consider Curacao' approach loose, but there are certain benefits we shall allude to. Overall, he process is cheaper and much quicker, which explains why the number of casinos registered on the Caribbean island is growing exponentially. Also, the capacity increases as four independent companies take care of casinos instead of one government body. Also, the favourable tax regime makes Curacao even more attractive, as lower taxes and more liberal corporate system give casino the means to offer more bonuses and possibly more games.

Only three deposit methods were accepted once we created our account – credit/debit cards, bank transfers and crypto. The number is insufficient, but at the same time, those happen to be the most popular methods, so all in all, the bare minimum is covered.

The minimum deposit is €20 – a standard condition, while the maximum isn't specified, and the cashier doesn't give any hints what's the upper limit. Each deposit is free and instant.

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee

When it comes to withdrawals, the conditions are a bit worse. The minimum withdrawal is fine – just €20, but the maximum amount is not specified. The same applies to the withdrawal limits – no info whatsoever. In fact, a clause in TCs state that players with winnings exceeding €20 000 cannot get their money in a single month, suggesting that €20K is the monthly withdrawal limit.

The processing time is also unknown, which wouldn't generally be a problem, but in this case, that condition is yet another unspecified one. The casino apparently hides information from players, which questions Casino Sky's fairness.

The inactive account policy, however, undoubtedly confirms that Casino Sky is anything but a fair casino. The dormancy clause is simply unacceptable! According to it, after only three months of inactivity, your account will be paused. Once it happens, the casino will charge you with 10% of the balance per month, which is nothing else, but a total rip off. Fair casinos do not charge players accounts with 10% of their balance, only bad casinos do so. Casino Sky is a place you shouldn't visit.

That's not the end of the story, however. After 12 months, your account will no longer be paused, but will be put dormant, with nothing further specified. And indeed, who needs to specify when there is such a damaging fee – 10%. After 12 months your balance will be completely depleted and almost empty, so who cares whether it's paused or inactive.

Games and Game Suppliers

Game providers: PragmaticPlay, Hacksaw, Evolution, NetEnt, Novomatic, Nolimit City, Red Tiger Gaming, OneTouch, Betsoft, Kalamba, Onlyplay, Win Fast, Thunderkick, AvatarUX, Wazdan, Spinomenal, Zillion, Other

Considering games and gaming experience, Casino Sky once again cannot meet the industry standards. The problem here is that there are too few gaming providers, just a handful of studios. That said, we shall note that all providers are well-known, so the quality of the slots are guaranteed. Indeed, you will find some of the very best slots, but not all, we shall be clear about that.

See the slots in the New category: Twilight Princess, Gravity Bonanza, Space Donkey, Rainbow Reels, Book of Rebirth Extreme, Easy Gold, Big Bass Crash, Book of Ra 6 Deluxe, 8 Golden Dragon Challenge, Trout's Treasure Wild Rivers, 100 Sevens, Trout's Treasure Deep Water, Anubis Obelisk, Diamond Supreme, Fortunes of the Aztec, Monkey's Treasure, Bavarian Riches, Case Closed, Blazing Spirit, Gold Oasis, Thrill to Grill, Queen of Water and so forth.

The lobby of Live Casino is overall very good. There are plenty of games, including tables of Poker, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Sic Bo, Fan Tan, Coin Flip, Roulette, Monopoly and others. We counted 104 Blackjack tables, a noteworthy fact we shall mention.

Conclusion

Once we entered Casino Sky, we were impressed by its theme and overall feel of the casino. The more time we spent there, however, the more problems we saw. First off, the casino has no license, which is a big, really big issue. Another drawback is the lack of bonuses – there are only two promos, certainly not enough. Considering payments, not enough methods and controversial TCs – the fee of 10% for inactive accounts was the reason to turn our opinion from neutral to completely negative for Casino Sky. This gaming house is not a good place for wagering. You should find a better casino, there are plenty of them, simply browse through Scamosafe and you'll see many. But whichever the house, make sure to stick to the most important rule. Play responsibly.
