CuscoCasino Review: Scam or safe?

CuscoCasino Review: Scam or safe?

Cuscocasino is a newly launched online gambling house, which promises access to thousands of Slots, Table games and exclusive Live Gaming experiences. When we landed on its home page, we were quickly able to discover that was indeed the case. One of the most impressive aspects of the casino is the robust games library it hosts. But that is far from the only thing about the house which manages to impress, though!

It is also fully licensed, and has managed to obtain the approval of one of the most popular regulatory bodies nowadays. This means players can expect certain guarantees for their safety and the safety of their funds when wagering on the casino's website. What's more, there is also a pretty wide amount of payment methods which you can use if you wish to cash in.

However, we should mention that no casino is perfect, and that this one is no exception either. It has a couple of flaws, which also deserve your attention. For instance, there is a pretty high minimum withdrawal requirement, and the plethora of deposit methods is not available when cashing out.

So, it seems that we need to take a closer look into everything the casino has to offer, in order to be able to give it a fair rating. We have done just that, examining both the upsides and the downsides of this house in the following full review. Check it out if you are curious about whether you should play here:

Bonuses

Here is an outline of all of the bonuses with the house:

Tuesday Cashback$3015%UnspecifiedUnspecified
Wednesday Booster$2025% up to $100040xUnspecified
VIP Bonuses-400 spins40xUnspecified

As you can seem this casino features a good number of different promotions. There is a pretty vast Welcome Package, which gives you no less than four bonuses, and there are a couple of Recurring promotions of note as well. Finally, Cuscocasino also offers access to specific VIP Bonuses, which reward its most loyal players. The issue with the promotions is that the amount of these Recurring promotions is a bit limited, so you might not be able to benefit from a bonus on every single deposit you can place.

Before we cover the promotions one by one, we would like to touch on a couple of details and rules they all have in common. For one, the wagering requirement for any one of the promotions is  40x. Such requirements represent the number of times you need to play through a bonus to cash it out, and are pretty much a part of any bonus these days. Usually, they are within the range of 30x to 40x, so, even though on its high end, we can safely say the requirement with Cuscocasino is decent enough. Secondly, there does not seem to be a cash out limit. These limits are another common restriction which comes with some bonuses, and place a certain cap on how much players can with with the bonus. There is generally nothing wrong with them as a concept, but the fact that Cuscocasino has not opted in to implement them is obviously beneficial to the players!

Now, let's take a look at the different available promotions, starting off with the Welcome Package. It is made up of several distinct bonuses, which are available on your first, second, third and seventh deposit. These promotions all have the same minimum deposit requirement of $20, which is quite competitive. In general, we don't see casinos require more than this amount! Here is what each of the promotions rewards you with:

  • The First Deposit Bonus is a very significant boost in your funds – it gives you cash equal to 100% of whatever you deposit, up to a maximum of $1000. What's more, there are 100 Free Spins up for grabs as part of the promotion.
  • After you've played through the previous promotion, you can claim the Second Deposit Bonus. This smaller promotion nonetheless offers you 50% of the said deposit, up to $500 and 50 Spins. Even though it is a bit more modest in scope than the previous bonus, the promotion is still a pretty good offer!
  • On your next deposit, you would be able to cash in and get the Third Deposit Bonus. We are happy to say that it is a bit more generous than the previous one, offering you 75% of the respective deposit, albeit up to the same maximum. There are also 75 Free Spins, which are part of the promotion.
  • Next, you can continue to cash in and play as normal. However, once you get to your seventh deposit with the house, you will unlock the respective Seventh Deposit Bonus. Even if it is somewhat removed from the rest of the promotions we mentioned, it is still a part of the Welcome Package. It features the higher multiplier for your deposit out of any of the promotions – as high as 150% of whatever you cash in, with a maximum of $500. Sadly, there are no Free Spins, but the promotion is an excellent way to round out the Welcome package!

With the generous welcome bonuses, we would like to touch on the Recurring Promotions as well. Such bonuses can be claimed any number of times, if you simply cash in the required amount with the casino while the bonus is available. With Cuscocasino, this is once per week for all of its recurring promotions. There are not as many of these bonuses as we would like to see, but here's what you can get nonetheless:

  • The Friday Free Spins Bonus is intended for high-rollers, because its minimum deposit requirement is $100. What's more, the amount of Free Spins you can get from the promotion changes based on how much you have cashed in. The minimum deposit gets you just 50, and you need to cash in up to $499 to get 100 Spins. The maximum bundle of 150 Spins is available if you've cashed in $500 or more. This does not really seem worth it to us, and we rate the bonus the lowest of anything Cuscocasino has to offer.
  • On the other hand, you can get a fairly generous promotion called Tuesday Cashback, which will reward you with between 7% and 15% of whatever you have lost during the previous week. You need to have made a cumulative deposit of $30 or more within the same amount of time to be able to qualify for the bonus. You also need to accrue $5 with it at least to be able to cash out. The particular percentage of money you recover is based on your VIP level. We will explain how the VIP system work a bit further on, but even the lowest amount here, 7% of weekly losses is nothing to scoff at! What's a bit more bothersome, though, is the fact that Cuscocasino does not mention how much the maximum you can get from the bonus is, nor what the wagering requirement of the promotion looks like. We suspect it to be between 1x and 3x, as that is usually what houses have in place for such promotions.
  • There is also a generic reload bonus, called Thursday Boost. It simply nets you 25% of the first deposit during the day, up to a maximum of $1000. The maximum bonus amount is impressive, while the multiplier is not. At least the minimum deposit is set to just $20.

Finally, the VIP Bonuses you can get from the casino are tied to its Loyalty program. The more you cash in, wager and play, the more you will be climbing the ranks of said program, and the better rewards you will be able to get. There are six levels within it, and here is the perks you can expect to receive as you progress among them:

  • There is an Improved Cashback Bonus. As we said, the casino offers you a bigger percentage of your losses during the week – up to 15% at level six.
  • Secondly, every time you level up, there is a special VIP Free Spins Pack as a reward. These packages can be as high as 400 Spins, and come with the same 40x wagering requirement you might have come to expect from the house's bonuses.
  • Finally, the most loyal players will be able to get Special Account Privileges which include various perks like a dedicated account manager, faster cash outs and higher withdrawal maximums.

License

When it comes to regulation, Cuscocasino does not disappoint. The casino has the following to say about its regulation:

It states that it is under the oversight of Gaming Curacao (GC), one of the most popular license issuers nowadays. There are four bodies which oversee the egaming market in Curacao, and they are all very popular with casino operators because of the lax approach to regulation they have undertaken. The bodies make sure that players are offered a certain degree of protections, though, as much as they try not to stifle the operators. Before we examine what those are, we would like to show you the license of the casino. Every GC license holder needs to implement the digital seal of the regulator within its website. This seal is visible to the top right corner of the previous screenshot, and clicking it leads us to the following page:

This is an excerpt from the register of the GC which entirely confirms what Cuscocasino has to say about its regulation. Now, let's examine what that means for you as a player, and why it is beneficial to deal only with licensed houses:

  • Perhaps the most significant axis of regulation has to do with the integrity of the games themselves. Pretty much any casino game you can play nowadays uses a random number generator to produce the outcomes of bets. These generators are nothing more than complex mathematical algorithms. How can you know that they are not skewed in favor of the casino? Well, licensed houses are to undergo audits. Said audits are performed by independent professionals, picked by the regulator, who are able to ascertain whether there is any bias within the game, and report on it if there is. That is why you can be sure you are playing provably fair games only if you do so within a regulated house!
  • There is also a lot of importance which regulators place on combatting problematic gambling behaviors. These behaviors can be developed by anyone, and so, it is important for everyone to know what they look like and where they can seek help. Licensed casinos need to offer you this information, but also provide you with means of opting in to certain self-exclusion measures. These measures include custom deposit limits you can set, time out warnings to opt in to and even the ability to close down your account unilaterally.
  • Finally, licensed houses also need to protect the information they collect from their players. This is often not given as much importance as the rest of the protections we mentioned, but is also vital! Playing with any online casino nowadays means submitting a lot of your personal details, about who you are, where you are playing from and so on. It is paramount for houses to collect that, because they need to comply with AML measures. At the same time, a data breach could easily prove disastrous for their players. That is why regulators require data be stored safely, using some of the toughest encryption protocols houses have access to, which makes hackers obtaining it much less possible.

Overall, playing with licensed houses is just more sensible than relying on houses which cannot guarantee they will be offering you these protections. But let's get back to our review of Cuscocasino – here is a list of the languages you can view its website in:

Languages: English, French, German, Greek

And here is a list of the countries where you will not be able to sign up and play from, in compliance with their policies regarding online gambling:

Restricted countries: Albania, Angola, Barbados, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Central African Republic, Congo (Brazzaville), Congo (Kinshasa), Curaçao, Côte d'Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Lands, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jamaica, Jersey, Korea, North, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Mali, Martinique, Mauritius, Mayotte, Myanmar, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Reunion, Rwanda, Saint Martin (French part), Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Somalia, South Sudan, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Wallis and Futuna Islands, Yemen, Zimbabwe

Deposit and Withdrawal

We were pretty pleasantly surprised when we opened the deposits page of the house, and discovered there was a plethora of payment methods we could use. Here is a list of these methods, as well as the currencies and digital assets you can use to cash in:

Deposit methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Credit/Debit Card$20$2000InstantFree
NeoSurf$20$900InstantFree
Jeton$20$2000InstantFree
MiFinity$20$2500InstantFree
Neteller$20$5000InstantFree
Paysafecard$20$5000InstantFree
Skrill$20$5000InstantFree
Crypto$20UnspecifiedInstantFree

Currencies: US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollar (AUD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Tether (USDT)

From credit cards, through e-vouchers and e-wallets, to crypto, it seems that anyone can deposit via a variety of payment systems. Note that some of them might not be available in your country, though. For instance, the UK has banned credit card operators from processing payments to casinos.

As for the minimum deposit requirements, they are fairly low – just $20. No fees are charged either, but it is expected that you will cover any third party charges, which come from the payment provider itself. That is pretty much how any house handles such incidental fees these days, though.

Now, let's examine withdrawals:

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Skrill$40$5000up to 3 daysFree
MiFinity$40$5000up to 3 daysFree
Jeton$40$2000up to 3 daysFree
Crypto$40$100000up to 3 daysFree

Please note that, in order to withdraw, you need to wager all of the funds you've deposited at least once. That is a pretty reasonable AML policy, which the vast majority of casinos have seen fit to implement.

What is less reasonable is the minimum deposit requirement here – it is set to $40, which is twice what you needed to cash in at least. There are also less payment methods available, which is disappointing. At least the maximum is fairly generous, sitting at $2000 per day.

The casino claims that players can have up to three pending withdrawals per account, and that these pending withdrawals are processed within 72 hours of the request. This is a reasonable timeframe, but other houses are able to perform cash outs faster. Additionally, as per a clause in the Cuscocasino Terms and Conditions, you might be required to wait another 72 hours between two requests being processed, which is completely unreasonable.

There are no withdrawal fees, but what we mentioned before with regards to the third party charges which might pop up applies here.

The only thing Cuscocasino charges you for is account inactivity, as per the following clause:

This kind of fee is pretty common, and its size is nothing extraordinary, so we don't have anything more we'd like to mention about it!

Games and Game Suppliers

Below is a list of the over 50 Game Suppliers that the house partnered with:

Game providers: PragmaticPlay, NetEnt, Playson, Quickspin, Spinomenal, KA Gaming, Mr Slotty, Spribe, Microgaming, Tom Horn, Igrosoft, PGSoft, Swintt, Evolution, Betsoft, Endorphina, Thunderkick, Oryx, Lucky, Gamomat, Play'n GO, Vivo Gaming, Amatic, 1x2gaming, Nucleus, Nolimit City, Mancala, Givme, Wizard, Smartsoft Gaming, 1spin4win, 7Mojos, Tvbet, Rabat, Reevo, Slotmill, Caleta, Leap-Gaming, Golden Race, BGaming, Golden Hero, Atomic Slot Lab, Gamzix, Fazi, Iron Dog Studio, Bet2Tech, CT Interactive, EAgaming, 3 Oaks, Gamebeat, Kiron, Hacksaw, NetGame, Evoplay, Triple Cherry, Mascot, Atmosfera, RealDealer, Foxium, Charismatic, Red Rake, ELK, Kalamba, Just For The Win, Big Time Gaming, Dlv, Platipus, Betsolutions, Onlyplay, Lightning Box, ISoftBet, Blueprint, Merkur, Belatra, Triple Edge Solution, Fantasma, OneTouch, Other

This is generally a fairly high amount, and the long list of top-tier developers has led to Cuscocasino offering some of the best games available nowadays. Here is what those are:

  • Slots: There are countless popular slots here, like Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Reactoonz, Book of Dead, Elvis Frog, Wolf's Gold and so on. The games have Bonus Buy features, Megaways mechanics and you can play pretty much any kind of slot you can think of. Also, they are sorted by their themes, which makes browsing them a breeze.
  • Table Games: There is a great selection of live dealer versions of casino classics like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes and Sic Bo. This is great, since no gambling house would be complete without offering them!
  • Game Shows: There's a couple of televised casino experiences to tune in to, like Crazy Time, Lightning Roulette, Crazy Coin Flip and so on. Find them within the Live gaming collection of the house, if you are interested.
  • Instant Games: This section includes crash games like Aviator, Plinko, Penalty kick and so on, which are perfect for players looking for fast-paced and high-ante experiences!

Conclusion

All in all, Cuscocasino turned out to be a very good place to bet. However, if you wish to play here, you will have to be aware of its two main flaws – these are the lackluster recurring promotions and the high withdrawal processing times and minimums. If you can live with them, then recommending the house is pretty easy for us to do!
