Gamble Zen Review: Scam or Safe?

Gamble Zen Review: Scam or Safe?

Gamble Zen is a new casino with a colourful theme that's quite pleasant and beautiful in most cases. We say in most cases, because some pages has some too vivid colours, which may distract players and affect their overall experience in a somewhat negative way. This, however, is an insignificant problem. In the following review, we'll focus on the most important aspects – bonuses, licenses, payments and games so that players who are considering Gamble Zen get all the details they need to know about the casino. Just a spoiler, no noteworthy downsides were found while we were browsing through Gamble Zen, so without any further ado, let's get into details.

Gamble Zen offers some good bonuses, including an appealing Welcome Package in 4 deposits, 2 reloads and a cashback. Overall, the casino covers the basics, but frankly speaking, we wanted to see a greater variety. Other casinos will offer mystery bonuses, anniversary bonuses, birthday bonuses, and other types of bonuses – diversity that Gamble Zen cannot deliver.

On the other hand, however, Gamble Zen has a special Daily Bonus in January 2024 – an event in which players can claim awards every single day. And the bonuses are really attractive – in most days the maximum bonus is up to €1000 in cash with the percentage being varied. In other days, free spins are given away – on 25.01, the prize is 75 free spins. A very nice promotion, but it's time limited, and we can't tell you whether it will restart in the future or not.

But anyhow, let's talk through all the bonuses that are currently available:

  • 1st Deposit Bonus – new players can get an amazing offer with their first deposit of €20 or more – 200% up to €500 and 100 free spins in the slot Dog House. The wagering requirement is 35 times for both cash and free spins. The cash-out limit is 5 times the bonus, so in this case up to €2500 will be available for withdrawal. For free spins winnings, the cash-out limit will be €100.
  • 1st Highroller Deposit Bonus – an alternative to the regular 1st Deposit Bonus. In this event, players can get much higher max prize – 200% up to €1500 and 100 free spins in the slot Sweet Bonanza. The minimum deposit, however, is much higher, as well – €500. The rest of the conditions are repeated – 35 times wagering, 5 times cash-out limit for money prizes (€7500 in this case), and €100 cash-out limit for free spins.
  • 2nd Deposit Bonus – deposit €20 for the second time to claim 75% up to €375 and 75 free spins in the slot Release the Kraken. The wagering requirement is 35 times. The cash-out limit is €1875 for money prizes and €100 for free spins. Note that this is the least lucrative prize in the Welcome Package.
  • 3rd Deposit Bonus – with their third deposit of €20 or more, players get 100% up to €500 and 50 free spins in the slot Buffalo King Megaways. The wagering is still 35 times, while the cash-out for money awards will be €2500. For free spins, the cap is still €100.
  • 4th Deposit Bonus – the last part is better than the other regular Welcome Package deposit bonuses, at least when it comes to the max prize – 125% up to €1250 and 125 free spins in the slot Big Bass Bonanza.
  • Wednesday Bonus – the first reload. Every week, players are offered 100% up to €500 and 50 free spins in the slot Gates of Olympus if they deposit €20 or more. The wagering requirement is 35 times for cash and 40 times for free spins. The cash-out limits are as follows: €2500 for money prizes and €100 for free spins.
  • Weekend Reload Bonus – the second reload, which isn't actually well-promoted on the website. The thing is that there are two separate promotions, which is in reality one but combined. During weekends, players can get 50 free spins in the slot Fruit Party if they deposit €20. If they deposit €50, however, the prize will include both cash and free spins – the prize is 50% up to €500 and 50 free spins in the same slot. The wagering requirement is 35 times for cash and 40 times for free spins. The cash-out limits are €2500 for cash and €100 for free spins. For some reason, Gamble Zen promotes two separate promotions, but once you get to their TCs, you realise it's only one promo with two possible options. They should improve their presentation cause the Welcome Package was also a bit confusing.
  • Weekly Cashback – every week players can return up to 30% from their losses, but with no max prize specified. The wagering requirement is a bit high for a cashback promo – 20 times. In comparison, other casinos impose much smaller rate – 3 to 5 times, so Gamble Zen's condition isn't the best in this bonus. No cash-out limit specified.
  • January Daily Bonuses – every day in January 2024, players can get a special daily bonus. To do so, they need to deposit at least €25. The prizes vary and may include cash, free spins or both. For more info, please visit the casino.

Those are the active promos for now, and we shall say we are impressed. The standard Welcome Package comes with a cash prize of up to €2625 and 350 free spins, and if you go for the Highroller, the cash you can get could be up to €3625. The reloads awards are also lucrative enough, and the daily bonuses in January 2024 are even better as in some cases up to €1000 is offered. We are happy with the bonus policy of Gamble Zen.

License

Gamble Zen is duly licensed, and for us, this is the most important aspect of the casino. The house is owned by Altacore N.V. and is authorised by Antillephone in Curacao. That being the case, Gamble Zen is free to offer casino games and sportsbook to players around the world using the master license 8048/JAZ, which belongs to Antillephone. The latter is a master license holder, so let us tell you more about it. But first, see players from which countries are not allowed to register and play.

Restricted countries: American Samoa, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Bulgaria, Curaçao, Cyprus, France, Greece, Guam, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Serbia, Singapore, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.

A few words about the regulatory framework in Curacao. Online casinos and bookmakers in Curacao are not licensed and regulated by the local gaming authorities directly, but four independent companies do so on behalf of the government – Antillephone, E-Gaming, CIL and Gaming Curacao. Each licensor company is responsible to sub-license and supervise online casinos, which guarantees that all rules and regulations are followed strictly. It is often viewed that the supervision in Curacao is not as strong because of this approach, but certain benefits are there, as well. The capacity increases since there are four licensors instead of only one, and the overall procedure is seen as more efficient. Also, the licensing process and subsequent control become cheaper and quicker, which gives more flexibility to casinos. So, if you’re looking for a casino with extra bonuses and possibly a bigger choice of slot games, you might want to pick one licensed in Curacao. Gamble Zen is an example, as it offers appealing bonuses, and its gaming library is really decent, as you will see later in the review.

The deposit policy of Gamble Zen is great. They accept a large amount of funding methods, including fiat, crypto, e-wallets, mobile payment systems like Apple and Google Play, as well as prepaid cards. The table above shows some of the methods, but not all. Also, note that the number of available methods will be different with your country, and even more options could be added such as some local payment systems.

The minimum deposit is favourable – just €20 for all methods. The maximum will greatly vary – from €750 and even less for cards and some prepaid cards to more than €200 000 when using crypto. For crypto deposits, the maximum will vary depending on the country. Each deposit is instant and free.

The withdrawal policy is also sound. Fewer methods are used for withdrawals, but that's only due to the fact that some deposit methods do not support withdrawals – prepaid cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, for example.

The minimum withdrawal is good – only €20, while the maximum single transaction cannot exceed €500. That's a noteworthy limitation, as other casinos may allow higher sums. Nonetheless, the rest of the withdrawal limits are acceptable – €2000 per day, €5000 per week, €20 000 per month.

The processing time for withdrawal requests is usually 24 hours, but if KYC and verification is needed, it may take a little longer. Keep in mind that you should meet the so-called rollover requirement before a withdrawal request is submitted. The rollover is the number of times deposits should be wagered before withdrawal, which is a standard gaming and AML condition that vary from 1 to 3 times. Gamble Zen wants all deposits to be wagered 3 times, so the requirement is in line with the rest of the industry.

The inactivity policy is also sound – €5 monthly charge for accounts with no login for a year. The standard is 6-12 months and €5 to €10 fee, so Gamble Zen's requirements are optimal. Overall, we are happy with the deposit/withdrawal conditions of the casino.

The gaming library of Gamble Zen doesn't disappoint either. They work with plenty of providers, each one being a leading studio, so all slots found in the casino is of high quality. See some examples:

  • Slots – The Dog House, Pets, Sugar Pop, The Prancing Pony: Christmas Edition, Sunny Fruits: Hold and Win, Buffalo Power: Hold and Win, Chilli Pop, Dragons of the North, Fortune Dragons, Stallion Fortunes, Super Sweets, Hell'Sing, Kitsune's Scrolls, King of the Trident Deluxe, The Dragon Tiger, Fortuna de los Muertos, Gems Bonanza, Goddess Of Fortunes, etc.

  • Game Shows – Crazy Time, Crazy Coin Flip, Deal or No Deal, Cash or Crash, Dream Catcher, Crazy Pachinko, Mega Ball, Football Studio, Monopoly Live, Gonzo's Treasure Map, Side Bet City and others. There is an imperfection, however – there is no dedicated Game Shows section, so if you fancy the shows, you should dig them out one by one from the Live Casino section.

Conclusion

Gamble Zen is a nice new casino with many positive features and just a few insignificant imperfections. Looking at the good stuff, the casino is licensed, offers plenty of bonuses, accepts a wide variety of funding methods, while the gaming library is fantastic. On the negative side, we didn't like some of the pages because of the vivid colours and the high contrast in them. One example is the TCs page – it's awful and hard to read, so some may find it bothersome to read through all the conditions applied. Another thing we didn't particularly fancy is that the gaming library isn't organised in the best way. Those imperfections, however, are really insignificant. All in all, Gamble Zen is a good place.
