Lucky Carnival Review: Scam or Safe?

Lucky Carnival Review: Scam or Safe?

Lucky Carnival is one very interesting case. The house offers literally thousands of slots delivered by hundred gaming studios, but the vibe is missing. While they tried to implement a carnival theme, the website still remains a bit generic in our view. But that turns out to be the most insignificant problem. The issue is that Lucky Carnival operates without a license, so it certainly has legitimacy problems – unlicensed casinos aren't a good choice overall.

That said, however, there are two more facts to consider. First of all, the website appeared online just a month and a half ago, so it's difficult to judge what they are up to. Indeed, one can assume that the casino is still developing and may as well haven't taken all the necessary prerequisites to call itself fully legit. On the other hand, however, starting a casino without a license while waiting for authorisation is never a good idea due to reputation concerns – it doesn't take long until negative reviews appear.

The other issue is that Lucky Carnival is not transparent enough. In fact, it's barely transparent as the name of the company standing behind this gambling house is hidden. As we said previously, it's too early to judge, so let's get into the house and see what they can offer. The bonus programmes are rather interesting, we shall say.

Lucky Carnival doesn't provide a mind-blowing amount of bonuses as all promotions are reduced to four – first, second and third deposit bonuses for casino, and a welcome sports bonus. Combined together, the three casino bonuses make 300% up to €3000, a nonetheless excellent rate since many houses rarely go above 1K. What is disappointing, in this case, is that Lucky Carnival doesn't have a particular Bonus TCs document, so not all the conditions are properly explained and displayed. An example is that the maximum amount of winnings is not revealed, so we cannot say what are the cash-out limits of these promotions. Anyhow, see how the welcoming offer unfolds:

First Deposit Bonus – the most affordable one. To participate, players need to deposit €40, and in return they will claim 100% up to €1000, which is a good offer except for the deposit requirement, which is somewhat high compared to other casinos – most houses ask for €10 to €10 to participate. The bonus is valid for 7 days and should be wagered 35 times before withdrawal. The wagering requirement is standard, but the period is rather restrictive. Cash-out limits are not specified.

Second Deposit Bonus – the prize in this promotion is the same compared to the First Deposit Bonus – 100% up to €1000. But the entry requirement gets 2.5 times higher – €100 deposit is needed to participate. The rest of the requirements remain the same – players should wager the bonus amount 35 times before withdrawal. Cash-out limits are not specified.

Third Deposit Bonus – the last part of the welcoming offer. The deposit requirement is out of any standards, as Lucky Carnival wants players to deposit at least €200 to activate the bonus. Seems too much for us. Other than that, all other details remain the same – 100% up to €1000 is the prize, the wagering requirement is 35 times within 7 days, with no cash-out limit specified.

Sports Bonus – a bonus promotion for sportsbook fans. To activate the bonus, players should place €40 to get 100% up to €1000. The wagering requirement is 35 times within 7 days, with no cash-out limits specified. So, as you can see, this promotion is almost identical to the casino welcome offers, which is weird. Indeed, you'll rarely see a good casino asking players to wager their sportsbook bonuses 35 times – that's simply out of the standards since sportsbook wagering is typically lower. Another thing to note is that all requirements for all bonuses are pretty much copy-pasted, which doesn't make a good impression.

Apart from the bonuses, there are other promotional offers, as well. There are four lotteries:

  • Time Of Champions with a prize fund of €500 – the ticket prize is €10, and to be eligible for participation, players should have 5 tickets, meaning that at least €50 deposited are needed.
  • Bronze Lottery with prize fund of €700 – tickets for €100 are needed for participation.
  • Silver Lottery with €2500 prize fund – €250 to participate.
  • Golden Lottery with €8000 prize fund – €500 deposits are needed to take part in it.

Apart from the cash prizes throughout different lotteries, players can get additional awards such as free spins, Samsung phones, fitness bracelet and whiskey. The wagering requirement for FS and cash is 35 times for unspecified period.

Lastly, there is a tournament to mention – Diamond Tournament with a prize fund of €2500. Other awards like champaign and AirPods and Lenovo tablets are also included. The interesting part of this promotion are the wagering requirements. The first three on the tournament ladder will have to wager their cash prizes 1 time, while 70 times will apply to the rest. The difference is just too big!

License

Now, here comes the most important aspect of Lucky Carnival. Unfortunately, the casino doesn't show any proof of authorisation, and our research didn't find anything, which practically means that the house operates without a valid license. This is bad for them and all players considering Lucky Carnival since authorisation is vital. It gives a sense of legitimacy, and also guarantees that the casino operates according to the standards, creating a fair and transparent gaming environment. Well, Lucky Carnival can't do that. It's not licensed, so for us, it's risky. To consider Lucky Carnival a good casino we should see a license. They need to fix that.

So, if you are looking for fully legit casinos, you will 99% of the time will be faced with gambling houses licensed in the UK, Malta or Curacao, with the largest number coming from the Caribbean island. The regulators UKGC in Britain and MGA in Malta are the top-tier bodies to authorise casinos, as they have impeccable requirements, licensing process and overall control. If you wager in an MGA house you can be reassured that it operates according to the most strict rules and requirements.

Then comes Curacao with a totally different approach. The authorities on the island do not single-handedly register, license and authorise casinos, but have delegated those rights to independent third-party private companies. Four of them operate currently – Antillephone, Gaming Curacao, E-Gaming and CIL. They are also called master holder operators and are given the power to license and authorise casinos. Some view this approach as too loose, but there are inevitable benefits to it. First of all, the process is cheaper and much quicker, which explains why the number of casinos registered on the island are growing exponentially. Secondly, the capacity increases since there are four independent companies instead of one government body. Lastly, the favourable corporate regime make Curacao even more attractive, which gives casino the flexibility to offer better bonuses and possibly more slots.

All in all, UKGC, MGA and Curacao's casinos are considered the best options. Lucky Carnival is neither of those, but it actually behaves like a regulated casino in some ways. For example, the number of restricted countries is really huge, and fairly said, it was quite a burdensome task to access this casino. See the list below.

Restricted countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, American Samoa, Andorra, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Colombia, Cook Islands, Costa Rica, Croatia, Curaçao, Cyprus, Côte d'Ivoire, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Ethiopia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Lands, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Liberia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reunion, Romania, Rwanda, Saint Martin (French part), Samoa, San Marino, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Virgin Islands, British, Virgin Islands, U.S., Åland

The deposit conditions are not really good. The minimum requirement is €40, which is a tolerable sum, but still higher than usual – most other casinos will ask for €10 to €20 on average. The funding methods are reduced to only two, and if you want to use crypto you should deposit at least €75 in Bitcoin. For USDT the sum should be equal to €100, which is too much, in our view.

Skrill and Neteller are also mentioned in the TCs, which implies that those methods are accepted, as well. Unfortunately, there are no details to show. As for fees and taxes, all deposits are free of charge and instant.

The withdrawal conditions are also not good. The minimum withdrawal is €150 for all methods, which is way too much compared to the industry standards – the requirement is around 7 to 8 times higher than usual. The maximum one-time withdrawal isn't good either – players cannot cash out more than €400 at a time. Lucky Carnival should fix that.

Nonetheless, the withdrawal limits are overall favourable, actually – €2000 per day, €10 000 per week and €40 000 per month. That's positive, but right after it comes the negative – rollover requirements are not mentioned anywhere. The so-called rollover is the number of times players should wager their deposits before a withdrawal, and it varies from 1 to 3 on average. We are certain that Lucky Carnival will have such demands, but those conditions are also hidden.

Lastly there is the fee for inactive accounts to discuss. After 180 days (6 months) of inactivity, the account will be subject to a €5 monthly fee. The charge is within standards, but the period is rather restrictive – on average, most casinos let 12 months to pass.

Games and Game Suppliers

Here is where Lucky Carnival shines. It works with hundreds of gaming studios to provide thousands of slots. In the list, you'll see the names of Wazdan, Microgaming and Zillion, to name a few, but strangely enough, PragmaticPlay is missing – the latter being one of the very best in the industry.

Game providers: BGaming, 1spin4win, Booongo, RubyPlay, PGSoft, PlayBro, Betsoft, Evolution, Platipus, Gamzix, Microgaming, Vibra Gaming, Turbogames, Thunderspin, Cyber Slot, Champion, Bet2Tech, 5 Men, Vivo Gaming, Gamebeat, Tvbet, Push Gaming, Triple Edge Solution, Simpleplay, Leander, KA Gaming, Oriental Game, CQ Gaming, Mr Slotty, Betsolutions, Mancala, Evoplay, Big Time Gaming, Spigo, Spade Gaming, Salsa Technology, Mascot, Zillion, Smartsoft Gaming, Macaw Gaming, Espresso Games, Amigo Gaming, Triple Cherry, Endorphina, CT Interactive, Swintt, Virtual Generation, Atmosfera, Onlyplay, Fazi, Reevo, Lightning Box, Maverick, Reloaded Gaming, Nucleus, Retro Gaming, Playson, Super Spade, Spinomenal, Hacksaw, Red Rake, Wazdan, Yggdrasil, Belatra, Kalamba, Fugaso, Leap-Gaming, Oros Gaming, LuckyStreak, BBGames, SA Gaming, Infinity Dragon Studios, Real Time Gaming, Ino Games, Chilli Games, MPlay, Live 5, PariPlay, Buck Stakes Entertainment, XPRO Gaming, Golden Race, Gacha Studios, WorldMatch, Gameburger Studios, Gold Coin Studios, Charismatic, ELK, Iron Dog Studio, Neko Games, Neon Valley Studios, Spearhead, RealDealer, Betixon, Slingshot, Storm Gaming, Dragon Gaming, Switch Studios, Habanero, Kiron, Play Pearls, Spinmatic, Slotmill, OneTouch, Concept Gaming, LiveGames, Caleta, Igrosoft, Foxium, Gamevy, Boldplay, Nohernlights, Rabat, Just For The Win, Skillzz Gaming

Anyhow, once you navigate to casino, you'll find an abundance of slots, and according to Lucky Carnival, the top 20 are those: Lucky Dama Muerta, Wild Chicago, Sticky Piggy, Miss Cherry Fruits, Candy Monsta, Sweet Rush Megaways, Deep Sea, Gold Express, Crazy Monkey, Quest Of Gods, Book of Santa, Bob's Coffee Shop, Scarab Temple, Aztec Magic, Lucky Blue, Midas Fortune, Avalon: The Lost Kingdom, 3 Coins: Egypt, Wild Bandito and Songkran Splash.

There is Live Casino section, too, but unfortunately, we couldn't access any of the promoted games. It seems that those are not available yet, for unknown to us reason, but whatever the case, that's an undeniable downside.

In the sports section, we found Football, Tennis, Basketball, Cricket, Ice Hockey, Virtual Sport, Volleyball, Handball, Table Tennis, Esports, Martial Arts, Baseball, Boxing and other, but a decent number of competitions. In football, you can bet on Final result plus Handicap, Asian Handicap, Asian Total, Total Team 1, Total Team 2, Team 1 To Score, Team 2 To Score, Both Teams To Score, 1st Goal and Correct Score. There are also options for first and second half – overall, not the richest selection.

Conclusion

We wish we could say that Lucky Carnival is a good casino, but can't do that for two main reasons- the absence of a license and the lack of full transparency. The deposit and withdrawal conditions are also not competitive enough. On the other hand, however, the casino has some good feats, as well, such as the overall good bonuses and the abundance of games. Sports betting is also available, which is another plus to consider. Lucky Carnival is very young casino, and we see that it has potential. If they get a license and fix some conditions, we will definitely reconsider our stance. For now, you can try the casino if you want, but do so with care.
