Lucky Owl Club Review: Scam or Safe?

Lucky Owl Club Review: Scam or Safe?

One word best describes Lucky Owl Club – disappointment. To begin with, the casino is advertised as a place where the gaming experience is taken to the next level – a false claim as there are only a few games by only one provider. Then, they also say that the customer support is available 24/7, which turned out to be yet another lie – once we tried to contact them, we were greeted with a message saying “We'll be back soon!”. We specifically wanted to contact them as our account was blocked immediately after a log out, which leads us to another issue – for some reason players' accounts may get deactivated.

All said, however, is just the beginning of the story and the problems we just mentioned happen to be the least significant ones. The most serious problem of Lucky Owl Club is that it is an unlicensed and practically anonymous gaming house. The lack of transparency became even more vivid when we discovered that most gaming conditions are left undisclosed. And it only got worse, as the very few conditions revealed turned out to be highly unfair – the casino reserves the right to confiscate funds, which is just one example. All in all, Lucky Owl Club is not a good casino, and in the following review, we'll explain why it's not a good idea to waste your time in this house.

On paper, the bonuses offered by Lucky Owl Club are really good. In fact, the numbers are among the best in the industry, but with that said, there are some issues you should never overlook. The most significant problem is that the information for each single promo is simply found nowhere. Indeed, for most of the promotions it's entirely unclear when, how and for how long can you take advantage of the bonus money of FS given away. Also, for some events it's not clear whether it's a multi-stage bonus programme spread across multiple deposits, or a selection to choose from. Let us share a few words about each bonus and explain.

Owl's Nest Welcome Bonus – a very lucrative offer, we shall say. Upon players' first deposit of $25 or more, they get 200% up to $1000 or equivalent in another currency. The wagering requirement is 35 times, while the cash-out limit is set at 10 times the deposit. That being the case, we cannot say what will be the maximum sum players will be allowed to withdraw.

Owl's Nest Second Deposit Bonus – whenever $25 or more are deposited for a second time, players claim 175%, but with no maximum cash amount specified. In fact, once we were logged in, we were offered 4 different promos, and this one wasn't among them. In the Dashboard, full TCs of the bonuses are provided, but that doesn't apply for the website – if you aren't registered, logged in, or you haven't completed the initial promos, there is absolutely no way to understand critical conditions about the bonuses available after the welcome offers. What a shame!

Anyhow, for this bonus a wagering requirement of 35 times will apply, with the cash-out limit still being 10 times the deposit.

Owl's Nest Third Deposit Bonus – deposit $25 for the third time to get 150%. The wagering requirement is 35 times, while the cash-out limit is 10 times. No other conditions are revealed.

Owl's Lucky Freebie – a really interesting multi-stage promotion. In it, players are given $200, with the task being to wager all the money. The first stage lasts 10 minutes, and after completion, the remaining balance gets transferred for the second round. The rules for the second round are absolutely identical to the first one, and when finished, players enter the third round. After all wagering from all rounds is completed, the remaining balance should be wagered additional 32 times before withdrawal. The cash-out limit is 1 time the bonus, meaning that players will not be able to withdraw more than $200.

Table Titans Welcome Bonus – To unlock the prize of 100% players should deposit at least $25. The wagering requirement is 45 times while the cash-out limit is 10 times. This promo appears to be a part of the welcome package, but many conditions regarding the bonus are not revealed.

Lucky Crypto Landing – another unclear promotion that seemingly consists of events for the first three crypto deposits. The cash prize is $1250, but it's not clarified whether this is the total sum, or the award for each deposit. The wagering requirement is 35 times, while the cash-out limit is 10 times the deposit. The percentage for each three deposits are as follows:

  • First Deposit – 250%
  • Second Deposit – 225%
  • Third Deposit – 175%

Feathers Of Fortune Reload – bonus for existing players only. The minimum deposit is $25, while the max prize is 350%. The maximum cash amount is not specified.  The wagering requirement is 33 times, with the cash-out limit being 10 times the deposit. Now, see the percentages a player can get depending on the deposit size:

  • $25 – $50 Deposit – 150%
  • $50 – $100 Deposit – 250%
  • $100 or more – 350%

Owl's Crypto Reload – the max prize in this reload is 350% plus 50 free spins. Unfortunately, the maximum cash prize is not specified, yet again. The wagering requirement is 33 times, while the cap on winnings is 10 times the deposit. Here are the percentages according to the money placed into the account:

  • $25 – $50 Deposit – 150% plus 20 free spins
  • $50 – $100 Deposit – 250% plus 30 free spins
  • $100 or more – 350% plus 50 free spins

Double Feather Cashback – players can get 20% cashback, but there is absolutely nothing specified as to how this promotion takes place. The only thing mentioned is that the wagering requirement is 3o times, while the max cashout is 5 times the bonus.

Owl's Monthly Recovery – another unclear promo with 10% bonus. The wagering is higher – 35 times, while the max cash-out remains the same – 5 times the bonus.

Weekend Flight To Riches – the prize is intimidating – up to 400%, but with no max cash prize specified, yet again. The minimum deposit is $25. The wagering requirement is 32 times. The cash-out limit is 10 times the deposit. See the particular percentages:

  • $25 – $50 Deposit – 200%
  • $50 – $100 Deposit – 300%
  • $100 or more – 400%

Lucky Months Grand Finale – up to 425% unlocked by at least $25 deposited. The wagering requirement is 32 times; the cash-out limit is yet again 10 times the deposit. See the alternatives:

  • $25 – $50 Deposit – 225%
  • $50 – $100 Deposit – 325%
  • $100 or more – 425%

As you can see, the bonuses appear to be more than lucrative – the percentages are wild. That said, keep in mind that way too many conditions related to the promotions remain undisclosed. The max cash prizes, the duration, the reload bonuses availability (whether it's daily, weekly, monthly etc.), the cash back period and so on, are not revealed, which comes as a downside. Casinos should always put on display all conditions, fully and transparently. Lucky Owl Club doesn't do so, and for that reason, the bonus policy of the casino remains questionable.

License

Lucky Owl Club is unlicensed, which is by far the most serious downside. Wagering in casinos operating without a valid license is not recommended, since it's not guaranteed that they provide safe and fair gaming environment. If you play in unlicensed casino, you may face rigged slots, problems with withdrawals, technical issues (we experienced it ourselves) or any other misfortune you don't want to experience. For that reason, we only recommend licensed casinos.

If you are browsing through and searching for legit casinos, you'll soon see that 9 out 10 gaming houses are licensed either in UK, Malta or Curacao, with the largest number being registered on the Caribbean island. In particular, UKGC in Britain and MGA in Malta are the top-tier regulators known for their strict requirements, licensing process and overall control. If you wager in an MGA house you can be reassured that it operates according to the most strict rules and requirements.

Then comes Curacao with a totally different approach. The authorities on the island do not single-handedly register, license and authorise casinos, but have delegated those rights to independent third-party private companies. Four of them operate currently – Antillephone, Gaming Curacao, E-Gaming and CIL. They are also called master holder operators and are given the power to license and authorise casinos. Some view this approach as too loose, but there are inevitable benefits to it. First of all, the process is cheaper and much quicker, which explains why the number of casinos registered on the island are growing exponentially. Secondly, the capacity increases since there are four independent companies instead of one government body. Lastly, the favourable corporate regime make Curacao even more attractive, which gives casino the flexibility to offer better bonuses and possibly more slots.

In summary, casinos licesensed by UKGC, MGA or by a Curacao master holder are considered the best options. Lucky Owl Club, on the other hand, is not even close to them. More so, the casino is totally negligent and doesn't even have proper TCs documents. They haven't mentioned a single restricted country, which shows how much Lucky Owl Club respects international standards and fair play. At any rate, Lucky Owl Club should restrict players from the countries below if it wants to evade serious problem – their website being taken down is one consequence they can face.

Restricted countries: American Samoa, Guam, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.

The accepted deposit methods are reduced to bank cards and cryptocurrencies. The minimum requirement for both is $25, while the Lucky Owl Club transaction is $2500 for bank cards and unlimited for crypto. Each deposit is instant and free of charge. Lucky Owl Club disappoints in this area. The good casinos accept tens of payment methods, providing variety and flexibility for funding. Lucky Owl Club doesn't do so. It's not a good casino.

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Credit/Debit CardUnspecified$2500UnspecifiedUnspecified
CryptoUnspecified$2500UnspecifiedUnspecified

The withdrawal methods are the same – cards and crypto. The minimum withdrawal requirement is not specified. The maximum single transaction possible is not specified, either. In any case, players should not be able to cash out more than $2500 in a one-time transfer, as this is the weekly withdrawal limit.

To unlock withdrawals, players should wager their deposits at least once, which is the so-called rollover requirement. The standard for the industry is from 1 to 3 times, so Lucky Owl Club happens to be at the lower end – good for them!

Then, however, comes the inactive account policy, which is anything but good. According to the very short TCs document, an account becomes inactive after 12 months no log in. Once this happens, the account gets terminated and Lucky Owl Club confiscates all the funds remaining – that's highly unfair! Lucky Owl Club is not a good casino!

Games and Game Suppliers

Game providers: Rival

Only one game provider delivers to Lucky Owl Club – Rival. The casino says that more than 150 games are available, but this statement cannot be verified. For one thing, there are only 20 slots shown before registration. After sign up, all slots should become available, but while we tried to get there and play, the Dashboard malfunctioned and we couldn't see any slot whatsoever. Basically, Lucky Owl Club is a candidate for the worst gaming experience.

Anyhow, here are some slots found in the very tiny library: Honey Hive XL, Majestic Mermaid, Big Cash Win, Global Cup Soccer, Mythic Wolf, Plucky Lucky, MisFit Toyland and Red White Bleu.

As for Live Casino, we didn't see any games, which is yet another proof that Lucky Owl Club doesn't offer good gaming experience. In 2023, a casino with no Live Casino section and games can only be seen as a disappointment.

Conclusion

Lucky Owl Club is not a good casino. It has no license, provides too few games, have rather unclear TCs, and confiscates funds from inactive accounts – that's more than enough to tell that Lucky Owl Club is a bad place for wagering. In addition to that, our account was blocked as soon as we wanted to log in after we were logged out automatically. On the positive side, there are many bonuses with exceptional percentage prizes, but since the casino is unreliable, we don't recommend that players should give it a try. Find a better casino instead, and play responsibly!
