Pumacasino is an online gambling house which has opened its virtual doors quite recently. The operator behind it, called XXL Services N.V. has been behind the launches of a couple of other casinos recently, and they all have a pretty interesting mix of advantages and downsides.
This casino is no exception. Among its strong suites is a great license, issued from a popular regulatory body which oversees the majority of online gambling activity nowadays. There is also an incredible range of methods of payments you could use if you wish to cash in. The conditions around them are also quite competitive.
On the other hand, the withdrawals from the casino would prove to be a bit complicated. It has a higher minimum requirement for them than the average house other there. Additionally, certain fees can be charged when you are trying to cash out – you can get hit with a penalty of 10% of whatever you are trying to withdraw, which we don't actually think can be justified at all.
There are other issues, like the bonuses of the house being somewhat uninspired, sparse and featuring a couple of conditions which are far from great. The games library is also a bit on the short side, and we wish there was more to bet on.
So, if you are interested in playing here, it seems like there is a lot you need to know about! We have covered all of the upsides, downsides and special features of this casino in the full review, available below, so check it out if you are curious about what Pumacasino can offer:
Bonuses
Most casinos nowadays offer a plethora of different incentives for cashing in with them. These promotions are one of the best ways for the houses to compete with each other, and are also something the majority of players looks for first when finding a new casino to play in. However, what Pumacasino has to offer is not really all that competitive. There is a single Welcome bonus, when other houses have several. After you're done with it, you can also claim a couple of Recurring promotions, but the conditions on them are not really all that great. Finally, there's a Loyalty bonus, which is not bad.
Here is an outline of what the promotions look like:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Bonus | $20 | 125% up to $500 + 100 spins | 45x | $100 for FS/ None for Bonus cash |
Monday-Wednesday Free Spins | $20 | 99 spins | 45x | $100 |
Thursday-Friday Free Spins | $20 | 40 spins | 45x | $100 |
Weekend Reload Bonus | $20 | 40% up to $400 + 50 spins | 45x | $100 for FS/ None for Bonus cash |
VIP Bonuses | - | $4000 + 200 spins | 40x | Unspecified |
Let's go over them one by one, starting off with the bonus you can claim with your initial deposit:
- The Welcome bonus is probably the most significant promotion you can claim with the house. It does require you to cash in $20 or more on your initial deposit, and adds 100% of that sum, up to $1000, to your account, as Bonus money. There is also a bundle of 100 Free Spins which is part of the promotion. What we don't like so much about the bonus is the fact that the casino requires you to wager it 45x if you wish to withdraw anything. Such wagering requirements are a fundamental part of any promotion you could get nowadays, of course. However, they are usually between 30x and 40x, with this one being higher than what we'd say is appropriate. Additionally, there's a cash-out limit of $100 for the Free Spins, and you cannot withdraw any winnings from them over that amount. The cash out limit does not extend to the bonus money, which does not have such a restriction. Nevertheless, it is a bit low, considering the size of the Free Spin bundle.
Now, let's go over the Recurring Bonuses. What's special about them is the fact you can claim them multiple times, provided you deposit within the day that the promotion is available. There are three in total, and two of them are available once per week, while the third can be claimed up to three times every seven days. Here is what the bonuses look like:
- The Monday-Wednesday Free Spins promotion rewards you with between 40 and 99 Free Spins, based on what you cash in. The minimum requirement is $20, which nets you the lowest amount of Spins. Cash in $40 and you can claim 50 Spins, or deposit $50 or more for the biggest bundle of 99 Spins. The same wagering requirement of 45x we mentioned applies here too, though what we find to be the most off-putting about the promotion is actually the fact that the cash out limit is the same for every amount of Spins you can get – $100. That's still too low for the size of the biggest bundle, and means there's just not really any reason to chase the bigger tiers of the bonus and cash in more.
- Secondly, the Thursday-Friday Bonus is the promotion which can be obtained multiple times per week, which we mentioned. It requires you to cash in $20, and nets you a bundle of 40 Spins. They have the exact same restrictions as before – a 45x wagering requirement and a cash out limit of $100 per bundle. Given the fact that the cash out limit is applied for each bundle separately, though, we think the promotion is much better thought out than the previous one!
- Thirdly, the Weekend Reload Bonus is a way for players who cash in during either Saturdays or Sundays to get a bit more out of their deposits. They can get 50% of their qualifying deposits during the weekend, up to a maximum of $500, as well as 50 Free Spins. The entry cost requirement for the bonus is once again $20, and there is once more a 45x wagering requirement. You probably expect there to be a cash out limit on the Spins, and there really is, of $100, just as with any other bonus. No restriction on the winnings from bonus cash is present, though. This bonus is a pretty good way to end the week, all things considered!
Finally, we would like to touch on the VIP Bonuses you can get from the casino. These are available via its Loyalty program – you receive Points for every $100 you wager on the different games you can play. These Points can then be used to rank up and unlock higher and higher bonuses. In total, there are 20 ranks you can progress across with a different reward for each of them. More specifically, here's what you can get:
- VIP Free Spins: The house features a number of Free Spin bundles. The highest of them is 200 Spins, and the wagering requirement for them is just 40x. This is the first bonus with a requirement which falls within the reasonable amount we outlined at the start. What's more, there does not seem to be a cash out limit for the winnings from these Spins.
- VIP Cash Bonuses: The higher tiers of the Loyalty Program feature massive amounts of Bonus money. For instance, the biggest of them is no less than $4000! What makes these massive rewards even more compelling is the fact that you need to wager them only 3x before withdrawing. That is an excellent requirement, which is ten times as low as such bonuses are set to by even the most generous casinos.
License
When it comes to regulation, Pumacasino did not disappoint us! Here's what the house has to say about the important topic of who licenses it:
It claims to be overseen by Gaming Curacao (GC). This is one of four regulatory bodies in the small country Curacao. The Caribbean destination has become the go-to for casino operators to obtain licenses in, because of the unique approach to regulation it has adopted. Instead of the government of the country regulating its egaming sphere, this task has been delegated to the four regulatory bodies, which are actually private companies.
All of them implement different policies, but what makes them so ambiguous is that they all have managed to strike a balance, being able to protect the interests of the player without restricting the operators of the houses from offering bigger bonuses and exciting games. Before we mention what the specific regulatory requirements for operators are, we would also like to show you the actual license of Pumacasino, as proof of what it has claimed above:
Now, let's examine the benefits of the regulatory regime in Curacao:
- When you are playing games of chance, you want to be certain their outcomes are truly random. That is something which only licensed houses can guarantee, because they are required by the regulatory bodies to submit the random number generators they use in their games for audits. The audits go over these complex mathematical algorithms and examine how they produce the outcomes of every wager players make. Any bias can easily be found out and corrected!
- There is also a lot of important regulators pay to protecting your data. They require casinos to collect a lot of personal information about you – who you are, where you are playing from and so on. It is necessary to do so in order to comply with the KYC policies casinos need to adopt, in order to prevent money laundering and other financial crime. However, this info being obtained by hackers can be devastating to you. That is why the operators which collect it need to store it using certain security protocols, which the regulators determine are appropriate for the task of securing your personal info!
- Finally, combatting problem gambling is another area in which regulatory bodies in Curacao have made some breakthroughs. They have implemented efficient rules, according to which casinos need to offer their players a lot of information on problem gambling. This includes how this kind of play manifests itself and where to seek help. Additionally, the player can always opt in to restrict their account in certain ways. For instance, they can chose to opt in to custom deposit limits, time out warnings, or even to close down their account and cash out all their funds.
As you can see, there are many reasons we consider licensed houses to be safer. However, we need to get back to the casino's review – here is a list of the languages you can view its website in:
Languages: English, Spanish, German, Finnish
And here are the countries from where Pumacasino cannot accept new players, because of the regulatory approach within them:

Currencies: Euro (EUR), Indian Rupee (INR), Mexican Peso (MXN), Norwegian Krone (NOK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), US Dollar (USD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Cardano (ADA), XRP, Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), Binance Coin (BNB)
Please note that some of these might not be available in your country. That is because certain methods, like Interac, are only limited to one nation. In this example, only Canadian players can cash in with Interac. Others are only offered by the casino in certain jurisdictions, like NeoSurf which only seems available in Australia. Furthermore, the casino features a couple of payment methods which are restricted by the regulators in certain nations, like credit cards, which cannot be used to cash in with casinos in the UK.
Other than that, the minimum deposit values are $10-$20, which is excellent, and about as much as we expected them to be set at. There's no fee for depositing, but third party charges, by the payment provides themselves might be applicable. If there are such fees, you will be responsible for covering them, which is reasonable.
Now, let's also examine the withdrawal methods:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Skrill | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Neteller | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
AstroPay | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
MuchBetter | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Interac | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Jeton | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
EcoPayz | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
SticPay | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
PIX | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Bank | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
MiFinity | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
Crypto | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fee Possible! |
These are far less reasonable. Starting off with the minimum withdrawal amount – it is higher, sitting at $30 for any withdrawal method. We don't expect to see amounts over $20 with any casino. At least the $2000 daily maximum withdrawal is reasonable, and the processing times are said to be up to 24 hours. However, if you place three withdrawals without a deposit between them, you will be charged, as per the following clause:
This is not fair and we cannot see how such a charge can be justified. Casinos nowadays charge nothing for withdrawals, and this one should not be an exception! Not to mention that third party charges might apply to these transactions too, as they do with deposits.
Note that before you withdraw, you need to have wagered your deposit at least three times. This is a reasonable AML policy, though.
Also, here's the inactive account policy of the casino:
According to it, the player will be charged a small fee after not logging in for 180 days. That's actually a fairly common clause in any casino's Terms and conditions, and does not bother us.
Games and Game Suppliers
Here is the admittedly short list of Game Suppliers you can find with Pumacasino:
Game providers: 1spin4win, 1x2gaming, Leap-Gaming, Iron Dog Studio, 3 Oaks, 5 Men, Absolute Live Gaming, Amatic, Atmosfera, Belatra, Beterlive, Endorphina, Merkur, Kiron, Big Time Gaming, Evoplay, Gamzix, Felix Gaming, Fugaso, Igrosoft, KA Gaming, Kalamba, Lucky, Mascot, MPlay, Fazi, EAgaming, Mr Slotty, Nucleus, Platipus, Popiplay, 2BY2 Gaming, Ino Games, Snowborn, Reevo, High 5 Games, Slotmill, Smartsoft Gaming, BGaming, Spade Gaming, Spribe, Swintt, CT Interactive, Thunderkick, TrueLab, Turbogames, Vibra Gaming, Wazdan, Zillion, Other
Even though it has been launched quite recently, there's no real excuse for the house not to feature the games of around 50 Suppliers. In fact, most of its peers are able to do that right off the bat. Still, there are some good games you can play, despite the rather limited amount of developers. Here is what they are:
Slots: This section of the library of the casino features games like Rasputin Megaways, Book of Dead, Sweet Rush and other slots. A lot of classic games like Big Bass Bonanza are not available, but it is always fun to explore new slots, and we consider Pumacasino to have enough of them to make it worth your time.
Table Games: There are a couple of virtual dealer tables, where players can enjoy casino classics like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes. If you are looking for live versions of them, there are just Roulette tables and a Blackjack table. In general, there's not enough in terms of Live games – we counted 15 of them in total, and there's not a single Game Show.
Crash Games: Finally, there's also a good selection of Crash games you can find on the website of the casino. These include Aviator, Plinko and other fun high-ante games.
Conclusion
All in all, this is not a bad casino. However, there is a lot left to be desired from its games and withdrawal policies, to the point where we would actually recommend you simply play somewhere else!
