Spintornado Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

Spintornado Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

Spintornado is a devious casino that tries to convince you that it is reliable by providing a fake, manufactured license. This is more than reason enough to avoid them and opt for the services of a respected, reliable enterprise instead. The fact that this establishment has very little to offer you in terms of entertainment seals their fate – Spintornado is not a casino we can recommend in any way.

Spintornado Bonuses

Spintornado offers a number of bonuses that sound good in theory but do not come with clear conditions. For example, we were not provided with information about the minimum deposit amount required in order to withdraw a bonus is – which is fairly essential.

The wagering requirements you have to meet in order to withdraw a bonus were very low, even suspiciously so – 15 times the deposit plus the bonus. Most houses will ask you to wager the bonus and your deposits at least 30-40x – unless the bonus came in the form of free spins in which case you can sometimes expect a bit lower wagering requirements of 20-30x.

The maximum bet amount that will be considered towards the wagering requirements is €3. There are also cash-out limits that have to be taken into consideration – 10x the deposit amount which is fairly standard.

Wednesday BonusUnspecified50% up to $50015x$10
Friday BonusUnspecified80% up to $50015x$10

The casino offers a Welcome Package with bonuses on your first three deposits.

  • The First Deposit Welcome Bonus grants you a top-up of 250% up to €1000.
  • When you activate the Second Deposit Welcome Bonus, you can get an additional 100% up to €750 on top of your deposit.
  • The Third Deposit Welcome Bonus adds a whopping 100% up to €1250 to your account.

Clients who are not depositing for the first time can take advantage of Spintornado's Weekly Offers. If you deposit on a certain day of the week, you can activate one of the following bonuses:

  • Monday Bonus – 50% up to €250
  • Wednesday Bonus – 50% up to €500
  • Friday Bonus – 80% up to €500
  • Saturday Bonus – 100% up to €1250

As you can see, this casino's bonuses sound quite good in theory – but might turn out to be less great in practice.

Spintornado License

Spintornado is supposedly operated by the UK-based company Voucherwave Limited. The casino has a digital seal at the footer of the website that leads to a website closely resembling the one of Gaming Curacao – one of the four master license operators of Curacao. Initially, it seems as if this casino is actually licensed by Gaming Curacao – but a closer look confirmed that this is not the case.

The current website that can be used to validate the licenses of casinos regulated by Gaming Curacao is licensing.gaming-curacao.com – not the one we were redirected to. In fact, this turned out to be the only active section of the website since all the other links on this page were there just to convince you that this is a legitimate register and did not lead to any results. Moreover, this website did not have a valid SSL certificate which means that it is not properly encrypted and could even potentially turn out to be dangerous.

All of this means that Spintornado does not hold an actual license and went out of its way to convince you otherwise by manufacturing one. All things considered, this is definitely not a casino you would want to invest money in since they are most probably not reliable.

Despite the fact that Curacao is an offshore jurisdiction, it has gained enormous popularity among online casinos in recent years and established itself as an important regulatory hub. The local government does not directly regulate online gaming enterprises. Instead, it has granted master licenses to four independent companies known as master license operators, who are then in charge of issuing licenses to casinos and handling player complaints. Additionally, they are the ones ensuring that all rules and regulations are followed, as well as that all privacy protection, fraud prevention, and responsible gaming policies are implemented.

Since there are fewer restrictions in Curacao than in stricter jurisdictions like Malta or the UK, many casinos opt to apply for licenses in this island country. However, licenses still need to demonstrate their legitimacy and follow certain policies. There are numerous trustworthy casinos based in Curacao – all you have to do is do some research to confirm that the casino is reputable and run by an established company.

What is weird about Spintornado is the fact that, although they accept a very wide variety of deposit methods, they only support withdrawals made via wire transfer or crypto. Still, we were quite happy with the fact that the casino let us choose from so many deposit methods – credit/debit card, instant bank transfer, various e-wallets, and crypto – and that the minimum deposit required in order to start playing was so small – just €10. This is actually lower than average – most casinos would ask for a deposit of at least €20-30.

When it comes to withdrawal conditions, we were less satisfied. Although the minimum withdrawal amount was, once again, fairly low at €20, the maximum withdrawal limits the casino presented us with were much lower than average. Players will not be able to withdraw more than €2000 a week and €8000 a month – when there are plenty of casinos that would allow you to withdraw even as much as €50 000 a month.

Withdrawals are generally processed within 36 hours unless they exceed €1000 in which case they might take up to 72 hours.

The casino asks you to wager your deposits at least once before making a withdrawal request. Such conditions are quite standard and a way for casinos to prevent money laundering. What is less standard, however, is that Spintornado charges a huge commission of 20% of the withdrawal amount when you try to withdraw funds that were not involved in playing – which is something important to keep in mind.

Spintornado Games and game suppliers

Spintornado works with about 60 game providers – both bigger, established companies like PragmaticPlay, NetEnt, Relax Gaming, and Endorphina, and with smaller, younger studios. This gives the casino the chance to present players with a large selection of games – but mostly slots. This is actually the best thing about Spintornado – the huge selection of slots. When it comes to table games and live events, on the other hand, we were far from impressed.

Game providers: 3 Oaks, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Play'n GO, Blueprint, Evolution, PragmaticPlay, Igrosoft, Quickspin, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger Gaming, Thunderkick, Betsoft, Big Time Gaming, Playson, Ezugi, Evoplay, GameArt, Endorphina, Wazdan, Red Rake, Spinomenal, Relax Gaming, Belatra, Dlv, Caleta, CT Interactive, Boldplay, Fazi, Espresso Games, Elysium Studios, KA Gaming, Kalamba, Hacksaw, Gamzix, Fugaso, Nucleus, Ggames, NetGame, NetGaming, MPlay, Leap-Gaming, Macaw Gaming, Platipus, OneTouch, Onlyplay, Smartsoft Gaming, Spade Gaming, Skywind, Slotmill, Retro Gaming, Revolver Gaming, Turbogames, Vibra Gaming, Triple Cherry, Superlotto, Amigo Gaming, Spribe, Zeusplay, Other

  • The casino offered many great Slots with various entertaining themes – both classic ones like Fruits, Mythical, and Egyptian, and more modern ones like Pirates, Horror, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Vikings, and Humour. Some of the titles you will get the chance to enjoy include White Rabbit Megaways, Caste of Terror, Vegas Rush, Mega Masks, Legion Gold, Rage of the Seas, Book Del Sol, Asgardian Stones, The Green Knight, Jingle Jokers, Rainforest Magic, Buffalo 50, Troll Hunters, Fox Mayhem, Blood Suckers, Tower Quest, House of Poseidon, Dynamite Miner, Rome The Golden Age, The Vampires, and many others.
  • Something we consider weird is that this casino does not offer any online table games like Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes, and Baccarat – most casinos still make sure to provide access to such events.
  • The Live Casino section was also very small – just around 20 games provided by Evolution and Ezugi. This is disappointing since bigger casinos often offer as many as 300-400 live dealer games.
  • Spintornado also offered a few more casual games like Aviator but those were not in a separate category so you will have to find them among the other games the casino offers.
  • Spintornado does not offer sports betting.

Despite the good selection of slots and the many renowned game providers, this casino's game library still managed to be a bit disappointing because of the scarce amount of table games and live events, and the complete absence of sports betting options.

Conclusion

Spintornado is not a casino we can recommend in good faith. The very fact that they tried to fake a license is already bad enough – but even if we choose to ignore that, they do not have all that much to offer. The slot selection was great but there were barely any games other than slots. The withdrawal limits were extremely restrictive. Although the bonuses seemed fairly decent, we did not get the full Terms and Conditions on them which is quite bothersome.

What we would recommend is for you to avoid this casino for your own good and turn to a more reliable company.
