Stakeprix is a racing-themed casino. Of course, it also features a fairly robust sportsbook. It has been launched quite recently, too. At the time of writing, the casino is just a couple of days old! We are always excited to discover new online gambling houses, and see how they refine on what an online casino should be.
Initially, we thought that Stakeprix was an excellent house, too. It promises no less than four different kinds of Welcome bonuses. What's more, some of these promotions have no wagering requirements, allowing you to cash them out directly. There is a good range of games you can play, and we already mentioned that the sportsbook you can access is great.
But the more time we spent with the house, the more issues it turned out to have! For instance, the wagering requirements of the Welcome bonuses which do have them are very excessive. Furthermore, cashing out of the casino has a pretty high minimum withdrawal requirement.
So, can the positive aspects of the house outweigh the issues it has? Well, in order to be able to give it a definitive rating, we need to examine Stakeprix in more depth. The following review will do just that, going over every advantage and downside of the house. Let's start off with the bonuses:
Bonuses
There is a great range of Welcome Bonuses which are available with the casino. And there is also two fairly interesting Loyalty bonuses, too. Here is what they look like:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Wager Free Welcome Package | $20 | 100% up to $1000 + 125 spins | 0x | 5x the bonus |
Welcome Package | $20 | 300% up to $1700 + 300 spins | 60x | 10x the bonus |
Wager free Crypto First Deposit Bonus | $30 | 200% up to $200 | 0x | 5x the bonus |
Crypto First Deposit Bonus | $100 | 300% up to $600 | 60x | 10x the bonus |
Leaderoards | - | $1500 + 500 spins | 10x | Unspecified |
Loyalty bonuses | - | Unspecified | - | - |
As you can see, there's only one thing missing from this range of promotions. This is a Recurring deposit bonus or two. We are not sure that the Loyalty program can keep the player coming back to the house. But, let's cover the initial bonuses you can claim with the house:
- Starting off with the Wager Free Welcome Package, this is a collection of three Welcome bonuses. Each of them requires you to deposit $20 in order to obtain. This minimum deposit amount is pretty much the norm nowadays. As for what the bonuses actually offer, they have the following rewards: The First deposit bonus is calculates as 100% of whatever you initially cash in, up to $200. It also features a bundle of 25 Free Spins. Next, the Second Deposit bonus has a 50% multiplier for your funds, up to $400. There is also a higher Free Spin bundle, of 65 Spins. To round out the promotion, the casino offers you the massive Third Deposit bonus. It not only has a 100% multiplier for the respective deposit, but also features the higher maximum of $400. Furthermore, there are 35 Free Spins to claim as part of the promotion. So, none of these bonuses require any wagering to cash out their winnings. That is definitely their main draw! However, there is a restriction on the maximum amount you can win with the bonus, set to 5x its amount. We consider such a cash out limit to be fair, since there's no wagering requirement.
- An alternative to the previous bonus is the Welcome Package. This is a fairly rewarding set of three bonuses, with higher multipliers than the previous one. However, there are also certain wagering requirements that you need to clear before cashing out each of the promotions. This is a far more common way for them to be set up, and is what most other casinos do. Clearing the wagering requirement just means that you need to play through a bonus a specific amount of times to be able to cash it out. Usually, that amount of times is 30x-40x. Back to the Stakeprix bonus, though. The First Deposit bonus is of 100%, up to $500, plus 100 Free Spins. It has a 40x wagering requriement and a $20 minimum deposit amount, which are both standard. The Second deposit bonus has an unacceptably large $50 minimum deposit. It adds 200% of the qualifying deposit, up to $600, as well as 100 Spins, to your account. However, the wagering requirement is 50x instead, which is higher than what we'd consider acceptable. Finally, the Third bonus is of 300% with a maximum of $600 and 100 spins. This staggering promotion has a $100 entry cost requriement, though, as well as a 60x wagering requirement. Both are not competitive at all! Furthermore, all of these bonuses have the same 10x cash out limit. So, the Welcome package is fairly restrictive, and we cannot recommend it.
- If you wish to deposit via crypto, there are two Welcome Crypto Bonuses that you could make use of. Once again, they are a wager-free promotion and another one, with a wagering requirement. Let's start off with the former. It is called the Wager Free Crypto First Deposit bonus. The promotion allows you to deposit $30, which is still a bit too much as a minimum requriement, to obtain it. The bonus is of 200% of the deposit, though, which is great! It has a maximum of $200, and a cash out limit of 5x the funds you've received. All of these features make it a very compelling promotion. Sadly, there are no Free Spins as part of it.
- The other alternative, the Crypto First Deposit Bonus, is decidedly less generous. The casino has an absurd minimum deposit of $100 for players to claim it. Still, the promotion is fairly sizeable and offers you 300% of that, up to a maximum of $600. The wagering requirement is 60x, which we don't think can be justified in any way. Especially since there's also a 10x cash out limit!
After you are done with the bonus of your choice, there's not much left for the casino to offer you! In fact, the house has only its Loyalty program and the Leaderboards. Let's start off with the latter:
- The Leaderboards allow you to compete with the other players in the casino to see who can wager the most in a given day, week or a month. There are three different rewards, issued to the top player, for each of these! The Daily leaderboard reward is of 500 Free Spins. Then, there's the Weekly leaderboard reward of $500. And the last, Monthly reward is pretty massive – up to $1500. This is a great promotion since it does not require opt-in and features plenty of rewards for the runner-ups in the race. The winnings from the Free Spins can be cashed out without dealing with a wagering requriement. On the other hand, the Bonus cash has a small, 10x wagering requirement associated with it. No Cash out limits are applied on either of these promotions.
- As for the Loyalty system, it consists of thirty account levels, separated in five Stages of six levels each. Progressing through them requires you wager certain amounts, and any bet you place is counted towards them. What rewards can you get from this system? There is a Rakeback, of between 10% and 32% of the house edge of every bet. The house edge is a percentage of your bets which the casino wins on average. It is different for every game, but if its 5%, the rakeback will be between 0.5% and 1.6% of every bet. The money from it can be withdrawn at any time, and is free from wagering. Note that if you fail to cash out the rakeback before you level up, you will lose it.
- The Loyalty Cashback Bonus is actually not a cashback. Such promotions are common with casinos these days and are calculated based on your losses from over a certain period of time. However, this Loyalty bonus is once again calculated as 10% of the house edge. The difference between it and the previous promotion seems to be that you need to withdraw the cashback every 30 days or lose it. Otherwise, it seems to be the same promotion.
Overall, we would have liked to see a couple more recurring deposit promotions too. There are certain Challenges, which the casino has. They require you to complete various tasks, for instance winning $150 with a $1 bet. Then, you are rewarded with certain amounts of Bonus cash. But that's not really a bonus per se. There is also a limit on how you can claim the funds. They are simply not credited to you if your account's balance is over $5, which we don't consider fair at all.
We should also mention the Sportsbook Features. These are not really bonuses in the classic sense of the word either, but rather special tools to make betting on you favorite sports a bit more fun. For instance, you can find a Multibet boost, which grants you up to 200% of your bet as a bonus for winning several wagers in a sequence. There's also a random $100 bonus awarded to one lucky bet per day. A Multibet cashback allows you to recover up to 30% of the losses from the casino's multibet feature. These features are competent enough!
If we have to give the bonuses of the casino a final verdict, it would be that what it has available is generally decent enough. However, the promotions could also be a whole lot better.
License
The license of the casino has been issued to its operator Versus Odds B.V. by the Antillephone in Curacao. This is one of the four regulatory bodies in the small Carribean nation, which have been tasked with overseeing its gambling market. Here is Stakeprix saying as much on its website:
Of course, we double-checked with the register of the Antillephone, instead of simply taking the casino's word at face value:
So, it seems that the house is actually telling the truth, and that its licensed exactly where it claims to be. This is a huge relief to us, because we greatly prefer dealing with regulated houses over their unlicensed counterparts. This is because they can offer players certain guarantees and protections, which you'd not be able to find otherwise. Here is what those protections look like:
- Data safety: Every casino requires you share some sensitive personal information to play. This can include your names, you address, your banking details and so on. Clearly, this falling into the wrong hands can cause you a lot of problems. So, how does regulation help? Well, licensed casinos like Stakeprix are required to use some of the toughest encryption protocols available nowadays. This means the data stored there is in no danger of leaking!
- Responsible gambling: Licensed casinos are required to provide their players with certain responsible gambling options. Among them is access to sufficient information on gambling addition and where one can seek therapy. But even higher protections are available, too! For instance, you can take control of your exposure to the casino directly, by simply enabling self-exclusion measures. These measures are things like setting custom deposit limits, time out warnings, or even closing down your account unilaterally.
- Provably fair games: The games with licensed casinos need to be provided to them by licensed Game Suppliers. These Suppliers submit any Slot, Table game and so on they make for review, which, in turn, means that they pay out exactly as much as they are supposed to!
Overall, the significant protections offered by licensed casinos are a great reason to pick them over their unlicensed counterparts. Let's get back to our coverage of Stakeprix, though. Here's a list of the languages its website is translated to. Additionally, you'll also find a list of the countries from where the casino does not accept new sign-ups, too:
Languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Norwegian, Finnish, Japanese
Restricted countries: Afghanistan, American Samoa, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, Cuba, Curaçao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Eritrea, Estonia, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Korea, North, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Myanmar, Netherlands, Pakistan, Singapore, Sint Maarten (Dutch part), Slovakia, Slovenia, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
Depositing to Stakeprix is fairly straightforward, and possible using a wide range of FIAT and cryptocurrencies. The payment methods accepted are also quite varied. We saw credit cards, e-wallets and even a couple of local payment solutions like the German favorite Trustly. Here's everything you need to know about the deposit policies with the casino:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Sofort | $20 | $2500 | Instant | Free |
GiroPay | $20 | $2500 | Instant | Free |
Trustly | $20 | $2500 | Instant | Free |
MiFinity | $20 | $2500 | Instant | Free |
MuchBetter | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Jeton | $20 | $5000 | Instant | Free |
Crypto | $20 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Currencies: Canadian Dollar (CAD), Euro (EUR), Norwegian Krone (NOK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), US Dollar (USD), Binance Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), XRP, Dogecoin (DOGE)
Any time a casino features a good range of payment methods, we rate it higher. This is because we appreciate the player being given choice in how they wish to cash in to the house. We are also happy that the minimum deposit amount is set to $20, which is pretty good. Some crypto assets might have higher minimums, as their prices are always quite fluctuant.
There are no fees for deposits by the casino, but third party charges lie the ones crypto miners have might need to be covered by the player. But that's not something unique to this casino! Most houses require players to cover these expenses too.
Now, let's move on to withdrawals. Here is a list of the methods you can use to cash out:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | $30 | $1000 | up to 24 hours | Free |
MiFinity | $30 | $1000 | up to 24 hours | Free |
Jeton | $30 | $1000 | up to 24 hours | Free |
Bank | $30 | $1000 | up to 4 days | Free |
Crypto | $30 | $2000 | up to 24 hours | Fees possible! |
There is a good enough range of those as well. However, the minimum withdrawal amount is $30, which is higher than average. Also, the casino charges a small fee on some of the altcoin withdrawals it processes. Even though the fees are set to flat amounts of less than a dollar, we cannot see them as justified. Especially since players still have to deal with possible third party charges.
The maximum withdrawal amount per transaction is $1000, or $2000 for crypto. That's fair enough. However, we should mention that players need to wager their deposited funds at least once before they can withdraw them. Now, that's actually a fairly common requirement in casinos these days, and we have nothing against the house setting it. Such clauses aim at the prevention of money laundering, which is a justified goal in our view.
If your account has been inactive, the casino will return your money to you, as per the following clause:
Most houses tend to charge a small dormant account fee instead, but it's obviously better that this casino does no such thing.
Games and Game Suppliers
Here's a list of the Game Suppliers which are available with the house:
Game providers: PragmaticPlay, Hacksaw, GameArt, Evolution, 1x2gaming, 3 Oaks, 5 Men, Amigo Gaming, BetGames.tv, Betixon, Betsoft, Blueprint, Booongo, CT Interactive, Endorphina, Espresso Games, Ezugi, Fazi, Felix Gaming, Felt Gaming, Fugaso, Corps, Gamzix, Ggames, Habanero, Iron Dog Studio, Kalamba, Mancala, Mr Slotty, Nolimit City, Novomatic, OneTouch, PGSoft, Playson, Quickfire, Red Rake, Reevo, Revolver Gaming, Smartsoft Gaming, Spinomenal, Thunderkick, Tom Horn, TPG, Vivo Gaming, Wazdan, Other
There are a bit over 50 of them, which is about as much as we expected to see. This means a decent range of games. More specifically, here's what Stakeprix has to offer:
Slots: The Slots catalog with the house is pretty big. There are Jackpot slots, Megaways and even Bonus Buy games. However, the page they are on loads very slowly, taking upwards of a minute of two to show the games. This is annoying. As for which games in particular you can fund here, there are tons of classics! Among them are Cleocatra, Book of Rebirth, Big Bass Bonanza, Johnny Cash, Elvis Frog: Vegas, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold and Mustang Gold
Table Games: The Table games section of the casino is vibrant and fun. It includes live and virtual dealer versions of Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes, and even more casino classics. We have no complaints, other than the occasional slow loading times.
Game Shows: There are many fun Game Shows you can explore with the casino. Among them are classics like Funky Time, Crazy Time, Sidebet City, Crazy Coin Flip, Cash or Crash and more.
Crash Games: Stakeprix embraces these fun novel games and offers a great range of them, including Dino, Aviator, Mines and more. Players looking for high-ante, fast betting action can find it in this casino!
In addition to all that, the Sportsbook of the casino has a ton of live and prematch events you can wager on. From Football to Waterpolo, there's something for everyone here! Furthermore, the Sportsbook does feature a couple of special features, like we previously mentioned.
Conclusion
Overall, Sportsprix is a decent casino. It has its flaws, and it also has a lot of things it does right. But we believe there can be better options to explore out there. So, if you're interested in them, check out the rest of our reviews.
