Woospin is a pretty bad online casino. In fact, it might be the worst new casino launch of 2023, even though it has opened its virtual doors towards the end of that year. There are many reasons why we consider it to be a flop, and the most serious one has to do with the lack of any mention of regulation or who runs the company operating the casino. We cannot know where the is ran from either!
This lack of transparency is quite annoying, as the majority of casinos nowadays strive to ensure their players have access to all sorts of information about the company they need. At the very least, a reasonable casino will have its Terms and Conditions published on its website, which Woospin does not do.
Then there are the issues with the actual services of the casino. First off, there is a very confusing bonus structure, and it seems that the house has opted in for quantity over quality with its promotions. Players are barraged with different low-value bonuses, with a total of around 20 of the unrewarding promotions. What's even worse, though, is the payment policies. With a single deposit method accepted and a minimum withdrawal set to ten times the minimum deposit amount, these are incredibly unfriendly to the player. Not to mention that the only games playable seem very dated and the sportsbook of the house seems to be an afterthought.
Overall, there is a lot to cover with this disappointing casino – here is everything it does wrong:
Bonuses
As we said at the start, there is an overwhelming amount of bonuses listed on the casino's website. Annoyingly enough, some of them lack certain crucial details, like their cash out limits or wagering requirements. Let's take a look at what we do know about the promotions:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
No Deposit Bonus | - | 30 AUD | - | 30 AUD |
Daily Check In Chip | - | 88 AUD | - | 20 AUD |
Daily Free Credit | - | 88 AUD | - | 20 AUD |
Welcoming 2024 Package | 5 AUD | 80% | 3x | Unspecified |
Daily First Deposit Bonus | 30 AUD | 30% | 3x | Unspecified |
Unlimited bonus | 30 AUD | 10% up to 500 AUD | 2x | Unspecified |
4+1 Bonus | - | Unspecified | 3x | 8x the bonus |
Daily Red Packets | 100 AUD | 59 AUD | 3x | 488 AUD |
Weekly Loyalty Bonuses | 1000 AUD | 89 AUD | 5x | 888 AUD |
Birthday Bonus | 50 AUD | 80% up to 300 AUD | 5x | None |
Affiliate bonuses | - | Unspecified | - | - |
Social media bonus | - | 10 AUD | - | - |
Broadly speaking, there are three types of bonus here – No Deposit Bonuses, Deposit bonuses and Referral promotions. Let's take a look at each of them, starting off with the former category:
- Newly signed up players will be able to claim the Woospin No Deposit Bonus, which will add 30 AUD to their account. The money is withdrawable, provided you wager it enough so that your balance hits 250 AUD. Then, the house will let you withdraw up to 30 AUD from that, and write off the rest. Now, wagering requirements are incredibly common nowadays, and are actually part of the vast majority of casino bonuses. What they are not, however, is tied to any specific balance the player is expected to hit! Instead, you just need to wager the money a certain amount of times, regardless of the outcome of that. Usually, that amount is around 30x-40x.
- There are also two no-deposit bonuses which are handed out on a daily basis. We are not sure what the difference is between the two, because the casino lists out the exact same conditions for both! These are the Daily Check in Chip and the Daily Free Credit bonuses. Each of these promotions adds a random amount of money to your account once per day, between a minimum of 1 AUD and a maximum of 88 AUD. The same rules about wagering the bonus as the previous promotion's apply, and there is an even lower cash out limit of just 20 AUD for each of them.
Now, let's cover the broad range of Deposit Bonuses which are available with the house:
- There are three bonuses which supposedly help you start the year off right, called the Welcome 2024 Package. They have the same conditions, and each bonus requires a minimum deposit of 5 AUD to obtain. That is a fairly low asking price, when most casinos require between 20 and 30 AUD to issue such bonuses. Each of these Welcome 2024 bonuses have the same multiplier for the qualifying deposit, and add up to 80% of that to your balance. Then, you need to wager this money 3x to cash out which is also exceptionally low, as far as those requirements go. So where is the catch? Well, Woospin being as opaque as it is, there's no mention of how much the maximum bonus amount you can get is! Also, the cash out limit for the bonus is unknown.
- Next, the casino hands out three different types of Daily bonuses for deposits. Above all, there is the Daily First Deposit Bonus, which, just as its name suggests, adds 30% of your initial deposit to your account's balance. The maximum amount of cash you can get that way is not mentioned at all, nor the cash out limit for the promotion. These are probably the two most important values for each promotion, and we are disappointed, but not surprised, that Woospin does not have them listed. The wagering requirement is pretty low, though – just 3x.
- Another type of Daily deposit incentive is the Unlimited Bonus, which just requires players to cash in 30 AUD after receiving the previous promotion. Once again, the maximum bonus amount and cash out limit are nowhere to be seen, and the wagering requirement is even lower – 2x. The benefit to this bonus is that you can claim it an unlimited amount of times, but its multiplier for your funds is just 10%, which is nowhere near exciting.
- To round out the Daily promotions, there's the 4+1 Bonus which the casino issues to players who have performed at least four deposits throughout the day. These deposits do not have a minimum mentioned, but they cannot have received any other bonuses. The specific amount of money you can get from this promotion is actually not mentioned at all – nor the conditions around cashing it out. Woospin claims these bonuses are issued on a per-case basis by its customer support team, which is obviously not good enough. How can you know whether it's worth it cashing in that many times if the house does not even tell you what you can get out of it?
- The next set of promotions is called Daily Red Packets. There are five of them in total, and the casino requires you to cash in 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000 AUD to claim each of them, in that order. Now, obviously, that's a lot of money, so surely enough Woospin will reward you handsomely? Well, no! The values of the bonuses you can get for each deposit are, respectively, 4.88, 8.88, 18.88, 28.88, 58.88 AUD. These bonuses are practically nothing when placed together with the asking prices, and you would be getting more out of the Daily Unlimited bonus, for each of these massive deposits you are required to perform. Not only that, but there are cash out limits, of 30, 50, 138, 288 and 488 AUD for each of the bonuses. This seems very unfair because of the insane deposit requirements. At least the promotions can be cashed out easily, once you wager them 3x, but that cannot justify getting them at all!
- Another underwhelming set of deposit incentives with Woospin is the Weekly Loyalty Bonuses. These are three promotions, which require you to have cashed in certain amounts of money throughout the week to obtain – 1000 AUD, 1500 AUD, 2000 AUD. Once again, what you can actually get for that is insanely low – just 68.88 AUD, 78.88 AUD and 88.88 AUD. The cash out limit on any of them is 888 AUD, which is more reasonable than the previous one. There is however a higher wagering requirement of 5x. At the end of the day, the issue with this package of bonuses and the previous one is that cashing in this much money in another casino is likely going to award you with a much higher bonus.
- Finally, there is a Birthday Bonus which Woospin issues on your special day. It requires a fairly high minimum deposit of 50 AUD to obtain, and rewards players with 80% of that. The wagering requirement is fairly small, at 5x, and there is no cash out limit, which are decent conditions.
Now, let's cover the worst bonuses with the house, those being its Referral Promotions:
- There are two types of Affiliate bonuses, and both of them can be obtained by introducing friends to the casino. The first of the two bonuses is awarded after the account you've introduced is made, and it awards you 5 AUD. This money has a 10x wagering requirement, and the same cash out limit. The other bonus comes when the introduced account places its first deposit. Then, provided said deposit is of at least 30 AUD, you will be able to get 30% of that as a bonus, with a 3x wagering requirement and a 90 AUD cash out limit. You will also be able to start earning a commission from the account, equal to 5% of their weekly losses, with a 10x wagering requirement and cash out limit. These promotions do require a lot of work, though, and we don't think they can outshine a reliable set of deposit bonuses!
- Next, the Social Media Share bonus rewards you for sharing your personal affiliate link in a WhatsApp group chat. There is no more information about how the bonus can be obtained, other than that, but its size is just 10 AUD, so it's pretty small regardless. There is the requirement to reach an account balance of 150 AUD to cash out, which is unreasonable, as we already explained. Furthermore, there is also a cash out limit of 10 AUD.
License
As we previously said, when it comes to regulation, Woospin does not have any mention of being licensed, nor where it runs from. This means that the casino cannot provide you with any of the benefits you might expect if you are used to playing at licensed houses. These benefits include a vast amount of protections for you, and for your account. Here is a brief list of what the most popular regulatory bodies nowadays, the four Curacao-based license issuers, can guarantee to players with casinos overseen by them:
- First off, whenever you are dealing with a licensed casino, you can be sure that the games you are betting on are fair. That is ensured via an extensive audit that each of the license holders has to pass. During the audits, the random number generators, used within each game to determine the outcome of bets, are examined. If there is any bias within them, it can easily be found out and fixed. When playing with licensed houses you will be enjoying actual games of chance!
- Secondly, there are comprehensive rules about how your personal information is to be stored. As you will see in the next section, Woospin only accepts bank transfers. Now, this means that paying the casino requires you to submit a lot of sensitive info about your bank account, which can cause you harm if it is leaked, or obtained by hackers. That is why licensed houses need to encrypt this kind of information, preventing data breaches or hacks from taking place at all.
- Thirdly, whenever you are playing with a regulated casino, you are dealing with a house which takes problem gambling seriously. It promotes responsible play by making sure there is sufficient information for the player to know what addiction looks like and where to seek help. Furthermore, it allows you to enact certain self-exclusion measures in order to limit your exposure, like setting custom deposit limits, enabling time out warnings or even closing down your account if you need to!
There are many reasons to pick a licensed casino over one like Woospin, but for now, it does suffice to say that the house would be much better off if it were regulated! On another note, here are the languages you can view its website in, as well as the jurisdictions from where Woospin does not accept new players:
Languages: Chinese, English, Vietnamese
Restricted countries: American Samoa, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.
Deposit and Withdrawal
Cashing in and out of this house is only possible with bank transfers. This is a rigid and inconvenient deposits policy, and we cannot get behind it. Instead, we appreciate casinos which can offer the player some variety when it comes to how they wish to cash in. Most houses accept credit cards, e-wallets, e-vouchers or even crypto on top of bank transfers. That is just another in a long list of issues with the casino. But let's take a look at the conditions around the deposits, too:
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Bank | 5 AUD | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Currencies: Australian Dollar (AUD)
The minimum deposit requirement of 5 AUD is good enough, as most casinos need you to cash around 10 AUD at least. The processing times are unknown, and bank transfers can generally be slower than other payment methods. Then there is the question of fees. We don't expect the casino to have any kind of charge for deposits. However, bank transfers can have their own fees, which should be relatively small if you are cashing in from an Australian bank. However, since Woospin caters to Australian players in particular, it only has an Australian bank account, and if you are cashing in from anywhere else around the globe, you will have to pay some pretty high fees for your wire transfers.
Now, let's take a look at the withdrawal conditions:
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Bank | 50 AUD | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified |
Without the presence of the Terms and Conditions of the casino there is no way to confirm a ton of information about it we expected to be able to find. For example, there is no way to actually know whether you would be expected to wager your deposits at least once before cashing out, which is a common AML requirement nowadays. There's no way to know what the processing times are for withdrawals either. We still don't expect there to be fees by the casino, but the third party charges we mentioned will apply here, too.
What's more, the house has a very high minimum withdrawal requirement of 50 AUD, which seems designed to make it difficult for the player to cash out. It is ten times as high as the entry cost! And without a Terms and Conditions, who knows what the maximum withdrawal is! The cash out policies of Woospin are the best reason to stay away from it.
Games and Game Suppliers
There are a couple of Game suppliers listed on the website of the casino, but they are smaller studios we have never heard of. Here are the only noteworthy developers it has partnered with:
Game providers: CQ Gaming, Spade Gaming, Spribe, Other
This is clearly not good enough, which reflects upon the terrible amount of games you can play here. Here is what those are:
- Slots: If you are looking for popular slots like Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold and so on, you will not be able to find them with the casino. Instead there are games like Cute Tiger, Night Out, Irish Luck and other unknown titles.
- Table Games: There is a good selection of classic table games, and you can enjoy virtual and live dealer versions of Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes. This is the only section of the casino's games library we have no notes on!
- Game Shows, Crash Games, Scratch tickets and Keno are some of the more popular games which are nowhere to be seen with Woospin – surely, this is going to be a disappointment for their fans.
There is also a sportsbook, which only has a couple of major sports like Football and Cricket to wager on, and lacks depth when it comes to live bets. No Sports bonuses are available either, and the whole sports betting aspect of Woospin seems to be an afterthought, as we said at the start of our review!
Conclusion
There is no way we would recommend Woospin. Instead, if you are looking to play with a safe casino which values your time and money more, browse our reviews to find a better alternative to this house. With how uniquely bad its services are, that will definitely be easy!
