Zeus Glory Review: Scam or safe?

Zeus Glory Review: Scam or safe?

When it comes to online gambling, there are tons of casinos available nowadays. So, this means that picking the best one among them is difficult, as houses try and stand out from each other with crazy mascots, huge bonuses, fun games and so on. On the other hand, Zeus Glory, the online gambling house we would like to cover today, initially seemed pretty generic.

It has a pretty simplistic website design, with a clean black background. There are a couple of bonuses, though, in our view, not enough, and the games collection with the house is on the small side. At this point, we would have said the services of the online casino are just mediocre, but there are bigger issues with them, as it turned out.

For instance, the house has a pretty bad set of deposit policies. It does not seem to accept many different payment methods, and there are certain conditions around cashing in which are not exactly clear. Then, there are bigger issues with the withdrawals – from a limited range of means of cashing out, to the unknown maximum per transaction and processing times, the lack of transparency makes Zeus Glory rather unappealing.

Another problem we noticed is the lack of regulation, and all that means that we cannot easily write off Zeus Glory as just another generic casino. In fact, we need to examine it more thoroughly, in order to be able to recommend playing there or not. So join us as we go over everything you need to know about this gambling house:

Bonuses

As we said before, there are not enough promotions with the house. In fact, the only ones which it has to offer are two Initial Deposit Bonuses and two Recurring promotions. Additionally, it is not exactly made clear what currency the bonuses will be issued in. We will examine the issue with the account currencies of the house a bit further down, but each promotion can supposedly be received in a different FIAT currency or crypto token from the other ones!

Nonetheless, here is an outline of what is available:

BonusMin depositMax bonusWagering requirementsCash out limit
Welcome BonusUnspecified200% up to $500040xUnspecified
Crypto Welcome BonusUnspecified250% up to $3000040xUnspecified
Free Spins Bonus$130 spinsUnspecifiedUnspecified
Cashback Bonus-25%UnspecifiedUnspecified

Let's start off with the two Initial Deposit Bonuses. Only one of them can be selected by the player when they are performing their first deposit, and the other will not be available afterwards, so you need to be careful when picking them. Here is more information on each bonus:

  • The Welcome Bonus awards players who cash in with a FIAT currency to the casino with a massive 200% of their first deposit. The maximum amount you can get is said to be $5000. The issue we take with this promotion is the fact that the minimum deposit required to obtain it is not made clear, which is a pretty significant downside. In general, we expect that sum to be around $20, which is about as much as most houses require of their players. Other than that, cashing out the bonus is possible once you meet its 40x wagering requirement. If you are unfamiliar with what these requirements are, they are a common part of any bonus nowadays and simply represent the number of times you need to wager said bonus in order to be able to withdraw it. Usually, they are around 30x to 40x, so Zeus Glory is within the realm of what we would consider reasonable for that kind of restriction, if towards the high end of that. Finally, if there is a cash out limit, such is not mentioned by the casino. That is yet another critical lack of transparency on its part.
  • The alternative promotion for your first deposit is the Crypto Welcome Bonus. This promotion gives you an even higher multiplier for your initial cash-in – 250%, as long as you deposit via one of the supported crypto tokens with the casino. Additionally, the maximum bonus amount for the promotion is said to be 45 000 USDT, which makes it one of the highest bonuses of its kind we have seen. Confusingly enough, the maximum amount is also claimed to be €30 000 on the same page. The wagering requirement for the promotional funds is still 40x, and the promotion has the same issues as the previous bonus we covered – that its minimum deposit requirement and cash out limit are not explained at all.

Now, let's cover the two Recurring Bonuses. The advantage of these promotions is that you can claim them an unlimited amount of times, provided you do so when the promotion is active. Below is what you need to know about each of the two bonuses:

  • The Free Spins Bonus is a great way to get a decent amount of Spins for the low asking price of €1. The page of the bonus also lists the minimum deposit at 10 BRL, which is about €2. Whichever of the two turns out to be the actual entry cost requirement, the promotion has a comparatively low asking price. At the same time, it also has a decent reward of 30 Free Spins. The issue with the bonus is that the casino claims that “wagering requirements might apply”, but does not mention what those are. We believe they will, in fact, apply to the promotion, and that would not be anything out of the ordinary for any bonus, but it would have clearly been better if Zeus Glory were able to disclose what said requirements actually are! There is no mention of a cash out limit either, which is not great. And what's worse is that the casino is pretty vague about what time of the week the bonus is available. Hopefully, it can be received every day, which would make it a pretty compelling offer.
  • There is also the Cashback Bonus, which allows you to recover a certain amount of your weekly losses. Such bonuses are pretty commonplace nowadays, but Zeus Glory has a pretty high loss percentage it gives back, sitting at 25%. It also claims there is no maximum to the bonus you can receive, which is very welcome, too. On the other hand, the wagering requirement for the money you recover is not mentioned either. We expect it to be around 3x to 5x, as that is about as much as most casinos nowadays set these limits to. Also, we don't know if there are any games excluded from that promotion, or if there is a minimum amount of money you need to lose before it becomes active. Overall, this is a promising bonus which needs to have some of its conditions clarified.

The promotions that Zeus Glory issues are very few, compared to other casinos. Additionally, there is not enough information on some of their most significant conditions. All of this is fairly annoying, and makes the house fairly uncompetitive when it comes to its deposit incentives!

License

Another issue with Zeus Glory is that it claims to be licensed in Costa Rica, as you can see below:

The problem with that claim is that the Costa Rica Gambling Commission, mentioned above, does not actually exist. The country does not regulate its gambling market at all! Instead, all you need to do to get a gambling license there is to incorporate a company and claim its main operating goals are the provision of gambling services. Of course, that is a very far cry from actually getting a license in one of the stricter regulatory jurisdictions nowadays, like the UK or Malta.

However, to give you an example of why you need to deal with licensed casinos, we'd like to highlight the protections you can get if you play with casinos regulated in the most popular jurisdiction nowadays – Curacao. This small Caribbean country has delegated the responsibility to oversee the egaming market to four license issuers, who, in turn, have managed to strike a unique balance between the interests of the player and license holder. They have strict regulatory guidelines while also not stifling casinos from offering larger bonuses and allowing their players access to new and exciting games. Here is what these guidelines mean in terms of protections for you:

  • First off, there are lots of personal information you are generally expected to share with any casino you play at. This information can include details about you, your address, phone number, payment methods and so on. That is why it is so important to encrypt it! Regulated casinos have to do so using tough security protocols which minimize the risks of a data breach.
  • Licensed houses also need to take gambling addition seriously, and the regulators in Curacao demand they offer the players two different ways of handling it. First off, they have to offer you sufficient information so you can know what this addiction can look like, as well as where to seek help for it. Secondly, they need to provide the player with certain self-exclusion measures. These measures let you take control of your spending with custom deposit limits you can set, time out warnings and reality checks or even the ability to close down your account.
  • Finally, there are also rules about making sure the games themselves are legitimate. The outcomes of nearly anything you can bet on nowadays are derived from a random number generator. Those generators are complex mathematical algorithms, which licensed casinos submit for audits. The audits can easily determine if there is any bias towards the casino in the way the results of games are produced, and correct it! That is another reason to stick to licensed houses – you can be sure you are playing actual games of chance with them!

As you can see, there are many benefits to dealing with regulated casinos which entities like Zeus Glory cannot guarantee. Furthermore, even though we would not go as far as to say that the lack of regulation means that the house is up to no good, we do not appreciate the misleading claim that it is licensed by a body which does not really exist! Who knows if the subject of our review is even incorporated in Costa Rica in the first place?

On another note, its website is available in only one language:

Languages: English

Non-English speakers will have a harder time with the website, which is always a downside.

Additionally, as is always the case with casinos, there are certain countries from where it cannot open new accounts. Here is a list of those:

Restricted countries: American Samoa, France, Hong Kong, Iran, Israel, Italy, Korea, North, Philippines, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Deposit and Withdrawal

If you wish to cash in to Zeus Glory, you can use either FIAT currencies or crypto. However, the only FIAT payment method accepted seems to be Pix, and there is a pretty shallow range of crypt tokens you can deposit with. Here is an outline of the deposit conditions and accepted currencies:

Deposit methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
PIX2 USDTUnspecifiedInstantFree
Crypto1 USDTUnspecifiedInstantFree

Currencies: Brazilian Real (BRL), Euro (EUR), Tether (USDT), Bitcoin (BTC), Binance Coin (BNB), USD Coin (USDC), Dogecoin (DOGE)

Even though Zeus Glory claims to accept Euro deposits, that is not really the case, because Pix is a Brazilian payment provider which can only allow you to cash in via BRL. The casino instead prompts you to buy crypto with your euro and deposit whatever digital asset you bought to it, but that is just a crypto deposit.

The minimum amounts you can cash in are very low – 1 USDT and 10 BRL, the equivalent to 2 USDT. This is very good, because most other houses demand you deposit at least 10-20 USDT to start playing. However, please note that there can be third party charges, by the payment provider or the crypto miners who are processing your transaction, and that you will be required to cover those. This is not out of the ordinary, and nearly any casino nowadays will expect the same of you.

Now, let's examine the withdrawal conditions of Zeus Glory:

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
PIX20 USDTUnspecifiedUnspecifiedFree
Crypto1 USDTUnspecifiedUnspecifiedFree

We should mention that you might be expected to wager your deposits at least once and up to three times before you can seek a withdrawal. This is a common AML policy that most casinos nowadays need to comply with, and it would not surprise us to discover Zeus Glory does the same. Of course, it does not mention that, so it is possible the house has no such requirement. After all, it is completely unlicensed, so it does not really need to comply with these policies, designed to combat financial crime.

Back to its withdrawal conditions, the minimum you can cash out via crypto is 1 USDT, which is excellent. In general, houses demand your withdrawals be around 10 to 20 USDT. And when it comes to cashing out via BRL, you can do so from 100 BRL, or around 20 USDT. There's no way to know how much the maximum withdrawal amount is, or the processing times for transactions, but we hope both of these are set to reasonable amounts.

Furthermore, the casino does not mention whether it charges any kind of fee to withdrawing players. We do not expect it does, but what we said about third party charges before will apply to any outgoing transaction with Zeus Glory as well.

There is only a fee for inactivity, which you can see outlined in the casino's Terms and Conditions in the following paragraph:

These kinds of fees are fairly common nowadays, and the size of this one is nothing out of the ordinary either, but it's worth bearing in mind.

Games and Game Suppliers

Here is a list of all Game suppliers we saw mentioned on Zeus Glory's website:

Game providers: NetEnt, Play'n GO, BGaming, Evoplay, Platipus, Quickspin, Thunderkick, Mascot, Amigo Gaming, TPG, NetGame, Yggdrasil, Felix Gaming, Gamzix, Belatra, Caleta, Fugaso, Blueprint, KA Gaming, OneTouch, Superlotto, Triple Cherry, Spade Gaming, Dlv, Kalamba, Real Time Gaming, Nucleus, Zeusplay, Espresso Games, Macaw Gaming, MPlay, Igrosoft, PragmaticPlay

In total, these are under 40 Suppliers. Other casinos are generally able to partner up with at least 50 Suppliers, on the other hand. So the library of games with this one is a bit on the shallow side. Nevertheless, with major suppliers like Pragmatic play, Zeus Glory is able to deliver some fun games – let's take a look at what they are:

  • Slots: As with any respectable casino, there are thousands of Slots you could play, games like Elvis Frog, Big Bass Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Book of Dead, Wolf's Gold and many others, among less popular titles. You can also filter the slots here by several gameplay mechanics – there are different sections for Megaways Slots, Bonus buy slots and so on, which makes browsing them easier.
  • Table Games: This section of the casino's games library includes virtual and live dealer versions of classic games like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack and Roulettes. There are multiple different languages and rulesets, which is great too! Confusingly enough, though, the virtual dealer tables are also found within the Live casino tab of the Zeus Glory library.
  • Game Shows: Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a single Game Show you can play.
  • Mini Games: This miscellaneous section of the house includes several fun casual games. There are Crash games – Plinko, Aviator and others, Scratch tickets and Keno.

Conclusion

Overall, Zeus Glory is not the best place to bet. Its games library is decent at best, and the rest of its services are pretty bad. Cashing out in FIAT currency seems to be a hassle, and there are limited payment methods in general. Also, the recurring bonuses don't really seem worthwhile. We can only recommend playing somewhere else, with a house which is licensed and more transparent about what it has to offer. That way, you will certainly have more fun while also benefitting from added safety!
