JooCasino Review: Scam or safe?

JooCasino Review: Scam or safe?

JooCasino is a casino with an oceanic theme which has been around for a while. The house was initially launched back in 2014, and has provided countless hours of fun to countess players. At the time of writing, the casino is nearly a decade old, so how does it stack up to more modern houses? Has it lost its edge, or has it managed to stay ahead of its competition?

We will examine just that question in the full review of JooCasino. We will go over its promotions, regulation. payment policies, and, of course, the games you can play as well. So, without further ado, let's dive in:

There are numerous promotions which this casino has to offer, and all of them are well worth your attention. Here are the most important aspects of these bonuses:

VIP Cashback-15% up to €50005xNone

The promotions can be separated into Welcome Bonuses, which are applicable only once per account, over the first three deposits you can make, and Regular Bonuses, which can be received multiple times. Let's start off with the former promotions:

The three Welcome Bonuses have a lot of similarities between them, namely in terms of the minimum deposit requirement of €20, the 50x wagering requirement and the lack of cash out limit. And while we consider the minimum deposit to be excellent, and competitive with other casinos, that is not the case when it comes to the wagering requirement! Such requirements are commonplace, and are applicable to pretty much any promotion you can claim from pretty much any casino out there. They represent the number of times you need to turn a bonus over before cashing it out, and are usually between 30x and 40x for such promotions. So, JooCasino has placed a requirement which is over what we'd consider competitive.

On the other hand, there are no limits on how much you can cash out from the bonuses, which somewhat justifies having to play with them longer! And, as you will see, the promotions are quite sizeable, too:

  • The First Deposit Bonus adds 100% of whatever you cash in, up to a maximum of €1000 to your account. Notably, there is also a package of 100 Free Spins which is part of the bonus.
  • After you have claimed the previous promotion, there is a 50% Second Deposit Bonus, which will add half of what you cash in as a bonus, with a maximum of €2000, as well as 50 Free Spins.
  • To round out the promotion, the Third Deposit Bonus can be claimed, which will give you another 50% of the respective deposit. Once again, the maximum bonus amount is higher, as it has been set to €3000. The same 50 Spin bundle can be claimed here, too.

Now, let's also take a look at the Regular bonuses. There are four of them which can be claimed by depositing – the Reload Bonuses. Their condition are similar to the Welcome bonuses, as they also have the same minimum deposits, with one exception, and wagering requirements. No cash out limits are applied either. The bonuses can be claimed throughout the week, or once you meet a certain condition. Here is what those promotions look like and how you can claim them:

  • Firstly, the Extra 500 Bonus is available any time you deposit three times within the same day. The promotion adds 50% of the fourth deposit you perform, up to a maximum of €500.
  • Secondly, if you cash in on the first day of the week, you will be eligible to receive the Monday Reload Bonus, which will give you 40% of said deposit, up to a maximum of €100.
  • Alternatively, if you are looking for Free Spins, you can get them via the Wednesday Reload Bonus. The amount of Free Spins depends on how much you cash in – deposit €20 for 20 Spins, €50 for 50 Spins and €100 for the biggest bundle of 100 Spins.
  • The last of these promotions is called the Highroller Reload. It is the only exception from the €20 minimum deposit requirement with casinos. Instead, true to the name of the bonus, you need to put in €500, which will enable you to get 50% of the cashed in sum as a bonus, with a high bonus maximum of €1000.

The last type of promotions with JooCasino are also Regular Bonuses as they are also available multiple times, but they are pretty varied in terms of what they offer you and what you need to do in order to get the bonus. Let's also take a look at them:

  • The Lucky Spin Bonus allows you to purchase a spin for a special Silver Wheel of fortune, which will reward you with a random amount of Free Spins or Bonus money. The entry cost for that is €30, and you can win up to €5000. There is also a Gold Wheel of fortune, with a higher asking price of €100, and twice the maximum you can win. The wagering requirements for the winnings from the wheel are 5x for Bonus money and 30x for the winnings from Free Spins, which is exceptionally low!
  • As you play and wager more and more, you will find yourself earning the special in-house currency of JooCasino, called RSP. These RSP can be used in the Bonus shop, where you can exchange them for exclusive bonuses. You can buy either bundles of Free Spins or Bonus cash, with a wagering requirements of 30x for the Spins and 5x for the Bonus cash. There are also special rewards like subscriptions for popular streaming services and even physical items like IPads or IPhones.
  • There is also a couple of Missions you can complete each day. The obvjectives can be quite different – you can be asked to cash in a certain amount of money, play a certain game and so on. The rewards for doing so are unique bonuses, which can be both Free Spins or Cash bonuses with the same wagering requirements we mentioned.
  • Finally, the casino features two different sets of VIP Bonuses. The first are just cash and Free Spins you can get as you progress your account through the several ranks that the casino has in place. Doing so just requires you to play more and more, and every time you rank up you can get a different amount of Bonus money or Spins The highest reward you can claim is no less than €50 000 and 500 Spins. The same wagering requirements are applicable here, too.
  • The other VIP bonus is the VIP Cashback, which is also tied to the different account tiers of the casino. A Cashback bonus is simply a promotion which recovers some of the losses from wagering with a casino, and this one is no exception. The amount you can recover is between 8% and 15%, and is determined by your account level with the house. The higher levels get better bonuses, of course. The maximum you can recover every week is €5000, which is pretty great, especially considering that the wagering requirement for the money is just 5x.

When it comes to regulation, JooCasino is quite exemplary. Here is what the casino has to say about this important topic:

It claims to be run by Dama N.V., a Curacao-licensed casino operator. More specifically, it is claimed that Dama N.V. has a license with the Antillephone – one of the four regulatory bodies that oversee the egaming sector of the small Caribbean nation. That is actually true – here is the license of the operator from the register of the Antillephone:

The reason we prefer licensed houses over their unregulated counterparts is the fact that they can provide players with certain protections that would otherwise not be available to them. And Curacao regulation is great in particular too, as it manages to offer you said protections without overly restricting players in terms of what they can get in terms of bonuses. Here is what the protections look like:

  • Perhaps the most impactful of these measures has to do with the games themselves. Casino games these days use random number generators to determine the outcomes of every bet. Licensed houses submit these generators to independent auditors, who are able to ascertain whether there is a bias in how these outcomes are determined. That is why you can be sure you are playing actual games of chance with these houses!
  • The second important aspect of regulation has to do with the prevention of problematic gambling tendencies. There are two sets of requirements for houses to comply with. Firstly, they need to offer the player sufficient information on what such tendencies can look like, and where to seek help if they feel like they have developed them. Additionally, they need to offer the player certain self exclusion measures. These measures include custom deposit minimums or time out warnings they opt in to, or even the ability to close down their account if they feel like it.
  • Thirdly, there is a focus on protecting the information you share with the casino. This information can include sensitive personal details about who you are, where you live and your payment methods. It is necessary for that kind of information to be collected, because houses nowadays need to comply with strict AML rules. At the same time, the regulators have realized this might put players in danger, and require this collected information to be encrypted with top-notch security protocols!

Overall, there are many reasons why we prefer regulated houses over their unlicensed peers, and we are happy that JooCasino is licensed with the Anitllephone. Let's get back to our review, though. Here is a list of the languages which you can view its website in:

Deposit and Withdrawal

Another area in which JooCasino shines are the many payment methods it accepts. Here is a list of all the means of depositing there, as well as the cies you can use to do so:

Deposit methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Credit/Debit Card€20€4000InstantFree

Currencies: Euro (EUR), US Dollar (USD), Australian Dollar (AUD), Russian Ruble (RUB), Norwegian Krone (NOK), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), Canadian Dollar (CAD), Brazilian Real (BRL), Japanese Yen (JPY), Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE)

Please note that there are a couple of these methods which might not be available where you live. For instance, Interac can only be used in Canada.

Other than these regional restrictions, the deposit conditions are excellent. There is a pretty low minimum deposit requirement, which is set to €20 for all of the payment methods. Additionally, the maximum deposit amounts, though not specified for certain methods, are decent for the rest of them. There are no fees either, but you might be expected to cover the third party charges which might be applicable, based on the policies of each payment provider. That is how these small charges are usually handled by any casino these days.

Now, let's take a look at the withdrawal policies of the house:

We are once again happy to report that this casino has an excellent selection of payment methods to offer. Additionally, its minimum withdrawal amount is fairly small – €20. In fact, it is the same as the minimum deposit! The only exception is wire transfers, which require €500. That is quite excessive, but there are plenty of options for players to use as an alternative withdrawal method, so the issue is not that impactful. The maximum you can cash out is no less than €2500 per day, which is a fairly high amount.

There are no fees for withdrawals in general, except for the small third party charges you need to cover. However, we would like to mention that players are expected to cover a certain wagering requirement – 3x their initial deposit. Otherwise, the house might charge them a special penalty fee. That is a common AML measure nowadays, and we are not concerned by it.

The house also has a low fee it charges to inactive accounts – here is what the fee looks like:

Such charges are commonplace nowadays and €10 is nothing excessive, so we have nothing to complain about here!

Games and Game Suppliers

The full list of Game Suppliers which the casino partners with is quite long:

Game providers: PragmaticPlay, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, 3 Oaks, 1spin4win, Alg, Amigo Gaming, Beterlive, Booming Games, BGaming, Playson, Spinomenal, TrueLab, 4ThePlayer, Amatic, Belatra, Blue Guru Games, Betsoft, Caleta, Bet2Tech, AvatarUX, 7Mojos, Yggdrasil, Wazdan, Push Gaming, Wizard, Zillion, Betsolutions, Leander, Leap-Gaming, Tom Horn, MPlay, Mr Slotty, NetGame, Nucleus, OneTouch, Onlyplay, PGSoft, Platipus, Popiplay, Blueprint, Reevo, Retro Gaming, RubyPlay, Revolver Gaming, Smartsoft Gaming, Slotmill, Spade Gaming, Spearhead, Spribe, Swintt, Triple Cherry, Turbogames, Tvbet, Vibra Gaming, Vivo Gaming, Electric Elephant, Endorphina, Evoplay, Fantasma, Four Leaf Gaming, Fugaso, GameArt, Gamebeat, Gamzix, Gaming Corps, Games Inc, Golden Rock Studios, Habanero, Igrosoft, KA Gaming, Kalamba, Lucky, LuckyStreak, Mancala, Mascot, Max Win Gaming, Other

There are well over 50 Suppliers, which ensures a robust and vibrant library of games. Usually, we expect to see about as many suppliers with the houses we cover. Here is what you can play:

  • Slots: It is not surprising that the casino has thousands of slots – from games like Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Bonanza, Sweet Bonanza, Book of Dead, Elvis Frog, Wolf's Gold and countess others. These games are divided into several sub-sections – you can play games with big RTP, Bonus Buy features and so on. However, there is no way to filter the games by their themes, which is a bit of a misstep in our opinion.
  • Table Games: If you are looking to play casino classics like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes and Sic Bo, then you would be in the right place at this casino! All of these table games and more are available with the house, in various versions but only with live dealers.
  • Game Shows: Speaking of Live gaming, there are plenty of fun shows you can tune in to. These include Boom City, Sweet Bonanza: Candyland, Crazy Time, Crazy Coin Flip and much more.
  • Crash Games: This house features a couple of these games, like Aviator, Plinko and so on. However, they are scattered across the library of the casino and are not really all that easy to find.

To answer the question we asked in the start of our review, about whether JooCasino is still worth checking out after it has been around for so long, our answer is a resounding yes! It has excellent regulation and fair and transparent payment methods. It offers tons of fun games and exciting bonuses, so it is everything one can look for in any online gambling house. This is a casino we can recommend without a second thought.
