King Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

King Casino Review: Scam or Safe?

King Casino is a house that has been on the market for several years now, and that is owned and operated by a very respected company that is regulated in both the UK and Malta. With such credentials, there cannot be any doubt about the casino's reliability and the fact that it offers a very safe gaming environment. What do they have to offer in terms of playing conditions?

For starters, King Casino applies a payment policy that is very fair and favorable to players. Their game library was not extremely impressive but it was certainly decent. However, we were disappointed with the bonus offers UK players could take advantage of – they were few and not very impressive. Moreover, we would have liked to see a better website and game library design and a wider selection of game categories.

As a whole, King Casino is not a bad casino – but it is far from your best option. More details in the full review below.

King Casino Bonuses

King Casino offers very few bonuses to UK players. Moreover, although these promotions came with relatively good conditions, they were quite humble in the size of the cash bonuses, and the number of free spins you could receive was relatively small. The cash-out limit for all bonuses is  £500. Here are the promotions you can take advantage of if you deposit with this casino:

BonusMin depositMax bonusWagering requirementsCash out limit
First Deposit Bonus£20100% up to £50 + 20 spins35x£500
Second Deposit Bonus£2050% up to £100 + 30 spins35x£500
Wager Free Wednesday£105 spins0x£500
Daily Spin Frenzy-50 spins35x£500

The casino offers a Welcome Package consisting of two bonuses for UK players. The minimum required deposit is £20 – which is standard – and the wagering requirements are 35x which is pretty good. You have 21 days to meet these requirements.

  • First Deposit Bonus – You get a 100% bonus on your first deposit up to £50. You will also get 20 free spins on Book of Dead.
  • Second Deposit Bonus – This is a 50% bonus up to £100. Additionally, you get 30 free spins on Starburst.

The Wager Free Wednesday promotion allows players to get 5 Wager Free spins on Book of Dead. You need to have deposited at least £10 in the last seven days – that is all.

The Daily Spin Frenzy is a promotion that is only available to UK players. Depending on how much money you wager on slot games in a single day, you can get a different number of free spins. For example, if you wager a minimum of £100 on any slot game, you will get 10 spins upon login the next day. You get 15 free spins for wagering over £300, 25 spins for wagering over £500, and as many as a100 free spins for wagering over £1,000. The winnings from the free spins must be wagered 35 times before they can be withdrawn.

King Casino License

King Casino is owned by AG Communications Limited – an established company that is regulated in the two top-tier jurisdictions in the gambling industry, Malta and the United Kingdom. You can view the company's license issued by the UK Gambling Commission below:

With such a license, there cannot be any doubt about the company's reliability. Casinos regulated in Malta or the UK are generally players' most reliable option. Such houses are required to meet a ton of requirements to ensure the safety and fair treatment of players. In the UK, strict laws are in place to control the gambling environment, protect customers, maintain fairness, and eliminate any possible negative effects of gambling.

The UKGC regulated a variety of gambling activities, such as lotteries, casinos, and internet betting. It provides guidelines for advertising, licensing, and consumer protection. The legal age for gambling is 18 years old – authorities do everything in their power to prevent underage gambling. Operators need to confirm the identity and age of their clients. No deposits and withdrawals are allowed before such verification is carried out. Operators must offer various responsible gambling tools such as deposit caps, self-exclusion policies, and contact details for groups that promote responsible gaming. Operators are required to follow different Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations to stop money laundering and terrorist financing from occurring on their platforms.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) is a separate organization that regulates gambling advertisements, making sure that stringent guidelines are followed to avoid deceiving customers and targeting minors.

Regardless of the customers' location, online gambling firms that cater to UK consumers are subject to the Remote Gambling Duty (RGD) – a tax, which was put into effect in 2014. The tax is designed to make sure that remote gambling companies pay their share into the nation's tax system, regardless of where they are physically located. It is a significant source of income for the UK government.

All of these steps are meant to protect vulnerable people, uphold a fair and secure gaming environment, and guarantee that operators of gambling enterprises manage their operations ethically. Operators and players alike must abide by these rules to protect the integrity of the sector.

King Casino Deposit and withdrawal

King Casino accepts a large number of convenient and reliable payment solutions. The casino's overall payment policy was fair and favorable to players – the minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts are low, payments are processed fast, and there did not seem to be any wagering requirements you need to reach before making a withdrawal request (or at least nothing of the sort was mentioned in the Terms and Conditions). Keep in mind, however, that you still might need to reach certain rollover requirements since this is more or less a standard policy casinos apply to prevent money laundering. Do not be surprised if King Casino still ends up mentioning something of the sort.

The minimum withdrawal this casino allows is also £10 – which is very low. There did not seem to be any withdrawal fees charged by the casino itself but keep in mind that your payment method provider might charge such independently. Withdrawal processing times vary depending on the payment method you are using – up to 2 business days for e-wallets like PayPal, Skrill, and MuchBetter, up to 4 business days for Trustly, and up to 6 business days for bank wire transfers, and withdrawals to a card.

King Casino Games and game suppliers

King Casino collaborates with a decent although not that impressive number of game providers. The casino works with established names like PragmaticPlay, Evolution, Yggdrasil, Wazdan, and Play' n Go but the total number of suppliers was slightly lower than we would have liked – some successful casinos work with as many as 100 or more established game providers. This means that the variety of games is lower with this casino than with some other big houses. Still, the selection of games and themes was satisfying overall.

Another thing we did not enjoy was the fact that King Casino's website and game library were not very intuitive and did not look very visually appealing – especially compared to the high-quality graphics and modern website themes some other establishments pack. If such a thing would not be a deal-breaker for you and you are alright with a more retro look, King Casino would not be a disappointment, however.

Game providers: Games Global, PragmaticPlay, Play'n GO, Blueprint, Spinomenal, Red Tiger Gaming, Evolution, PariPlay, ISoftBet, Skywind, Stakelogic, Eyecon, RubyPlay, Hacksaw, NetEnt, Red Rake, Quickspin, Wazdan, 1x2gaming, Ainsworth, Ggames, Authentic Gaming, Green Tube, Booming Games, Slotmill, Betixon, Atomic Slot Lab, Playson, Skillzz Gaming, Lightning Box, Yggdrasil, Tom Horn, Oryx, Spribe, Other

The Slot section offered some of the most popular current titles – Book of Dead, Starburst, Big Bass Bonanza, Wolf Gold, Rise of Olympus, Tombe of Madness, Reactoonz, Book of Irish, Perfect Gems, Book of Tut, Extra Juicy, Sugar Rush. Mighty Wild Panther, etc. We believe that fans of slots will be quite happy with what King Casino has to offer. What we found quite great is that players could search for a particular theme, or mechanics – which made it fairly easy to find exactly what you are looking for.

The Live Casino section was decent although unimpressive. The casino offered an alright number of Poker, Roulette, and Blackjack games – however, no Live Baccarat games were offered which is quite weird. The Game Show selection was also okay – we got to enjoy games like Funky Time, Monopoly Live, Deal or No Deal, Lightning Dice, Dream Catcher, Mega Ball 100, Gonzo's Treasure Hunt, Football Studio, etc.

It is quite disappointing that the casino did not offer other table games, crash games, or sports betting – although the selection of titles in the game categories it did offer was decent, we would have liked to see a larger variety of categories.

Conclusion

King Casino is an establishment that packs several positive features – a solid license and a decent selection of slots and live games, as well as a payment policy that is very favorable to players. However, the house is far from perfect. The website design was horrible, the kinds of games we got to enjoy were few, and there were not many bonuses UK players could take advantage of. The ones we did get to activate were very humble in size.

As a whole, King Casino is not a bad house – but it is not a house we can wholeheartedly recommend either. What we would suggest is checking the casino out to see if they are the right choice for you since they might as well be – but also keep other options in mind.
