Lucky10 Casino review: Scam or Safe?

Lucky10 Casino review: Scam or Safe?

Lucky10 is a rather newly launched online casino. It promises over 4800 different games, with Slots, Table games and Live gaming experiences. However, while that is a great amount of titles, there is a lot more that goes into a great casino than just its games. It needs to be able to stand out from the rest of its peers, be it with its bonuses, regulation or payment methods.

And that is where Lucky10 falls short! The house has a pretty good Welcome bonus, and a deep and engaging Loyalty program. But that's not enough, in our view. We would have liked to see more promotions available.

As for the other two, the payment methods and the license of Lucky10, they are exactly what we expected to see. That is not to say the house has bad deposit or withdrawal policies, or insufficient regulation, though. They are just nothing you won't find with most other casinos either.

So, in order to see whether we can recommend this house or not, we need to take a closer look into its services. Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the casino:

Bonuses

A full list of the promotions you can claim by playing at Lucky10 is available below:

BonusMin depositMax bonusWagering requirementsCash out limit
Welcome Bonus$10100% up to $50035x10x the bonus
Loyalty Bonuses-1000 spins40x-
Cashback bonus-10% up to $10001x-

As we said, there are just not enough of them! There is a fairly sizeable Welcome bonus, but after that is played through, why stick around? One of the best ways for houses to keep players happy is with a good amount of Recurring bonuses. It seems that Lucky10 does not want to make use of that opportunity, which is puzzling. It only has a long-winded, but not particularly rewarding Loyalty Program instead.

Either way, let's take a look at these promotions:

  • The Welcome bonus adds 100% of whatever you deposit for the first time with the casino. We find that to be a fairy standard type of promotion, but where Lucky10 shakes things up is with the minimum deposit requriement. That is set to $10. However, most houses tend to ask for $20 to issue such a promotion. As for the maximum size of the Welcome bonus, that is set to $500, a decently good amount. Can you withdraw the funds from the bonus? Yes, provided you clear the wagering requriement for the casino! This wagering requirement is set to 35x the size of the received bonus. Clearing the wagering requriement simply means you need to play through the bonus 35 times to unlock it. Additionally, we should also mention that there is also a maximum to how much you can cash out by playing with said bonus. The maximum cash out limit is 10x the size of the bonus, which is fairly reasonable. Overall, the Welcome bonus of the casino is quite fair enough.
  • As for the Loyalty System of the casino, the house features 100 account levels in total. The more you cash in and play, the more you will progress across these levels. Every time you level up, you will unlock a special reward. The rewards are Free Spins or Deposit bonuses, as well as a special Cashback which we will cover in additional detail in a second. For now, how many Spins can you get from ranking up? A set amount of 10 per rank. This means there are 1000 Spins up for grabs in total. The winnings from them can be cashed out by clearing a 40x wagering requirement. This is a fairly competitive requirement. Most casinos set theirs to 30x-40x, and Lucky10 is within the realm of what we consider to be acceptable, even though towards its high end. There is a cash out limit of $100 for each separate bundle of Spins, which is great. On the other hand, we don't know when you can earn the deposit bonuses, not what they consist of. However, their wagering requirement is set to 35x, and their cash out limit is 10x.
  • On the other hand, the Cashback Bonus with the casino provides players with a way of getting back a bunch of the money lost from their bets, over the course of seven days. The particular amount is between 1% and 10% of whatever you lose. Naturally, the more you progress in the Loyalty system as we previously explained, the better the percentage gets. What's the maximum cashback you can earn each week? No more than $1000. Overall, that's a fairly high amount in our view, and the wagering requirement for the bonus is just 1x. So, we can confidently say that the bonus is worth working towards. But there are some issues we have with it as well. For one, the cash out limit for the bonus is not available. Secondly, there are casinos which tend to offer similar promotions out there outside of a Loyalty program. Therefore, we are not sure the bonus is worth working towards in the first place.

We are happy with the conditions of the casino's bonuses. So we are even more disappointed in how little of them there are in total! Of course, Lucky10 is a fairly new casino and there is all the time in the world for it to refine its policies on bonuses. We hope to see it introduce more Recurring promotions. Hopefully, those will provide the player with a more predictable source of bonus cash and Free Spins.

License

One of the best things about this casino is the fact it is licensed with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC). This is actually one of the first regulatory bodies which started issuing licenses to online casinos in 1999. This means it has a quarter century of regulatory experience by this point. Here's what Lucky10 has to say about its regulation:

How can we be sure the house is not lying? Well, clicking on the red logo of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission leads us to the register of the licensing body:

This is actually Lucky10's license itself. It entirely confirms the casino's claims. But what does that matter? Well, there are actually certain protections and guarantees which licensed casinos are able to provide players. These same protections are not available with houses which do not hold licenses. In the case of the KGC, here's the policies that casinos need to comply with:

  • Responsible gambling options: The safety of players is one of the main concerns of the regulator. To protect them from developing unhealthy gambling habits, casinos are required to offer certain self-exclusion options. For instance, you can set custom deposit limits or enable time out warnings in order to reduce your exposure to the casino. Furthermore, you can always close down your account, if you feel that this is necessary. Not to mention the wealth of information casinos are generally required to provide for their players these days. This includes helpful resources on what gambling addiction looks like, as well as where to seek help, should you decide you need it!
  • Prevention of minors gambling: Another aspect of the responsible approach to gambling is the absolute prevention of minors from playing casino games. This is a top priority of every license holder with the KGC. They tend to introduce ID checks, which do a good job of preventing underage gamblers.
  • Data safety rules: As we said, you might need to undergo an ID check with a KGC licensed casino. However, this means that you need to trust the house to store the picture of the document you submitted to pass the check. Of course, there is a lot more sensitive information that casinos tend to require from their players, and it all needs to be safeguarded. Such personal info leaking could cause you a lot of damage. In order to keep it outside of the hands of hackers, licensed houses need to follow strict encryption protocols, which, in turn, ensures your digital safety!

There are even more protections we could mention, but we hope that we have made it clear why licensed houses are a better choice. Their unregulated counterparts simply cannot compare. Either way, we need to get back to our coverage of Lucky10. This is an international casino, which means its website is available in a couple languages besides English. Let's take a look at those:

Languages: English, Finnish, German

We always appreciate houses attempting to accommodate a larger audience of players who might not speak English as well. So, we like the fact that German and Suomi are both available. At the same time, as inclusive as Lucky10 is, certain players will not be able to sign up. That is due to the regulatory approaches of these countries to online gambling. More specifically, here's the couple of jurisdictions from where you will not be able to open an account with Lucky10:

Restricted countries: Afghanistan, American Samoa, Barbados, Burkina Faso, Cayman Islands, Congo (Brazzaville), Haiti, Iran, Jamaica, Jordan, Korea, North, Mali, Malta, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nigeria, Panama, Philippines, Russian Federation, Senegal, South Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Vanuatu, Virgin Islands, U.S., Yemen

Deposit and Withdrawal

Cashing in with an online casino nowadays tends to be possible via a great range of payment methods, and Lucky10 is no exception to that. It lets players cash using a tremendous variety of deposit options, from credit cards, through bank transfers and e-wallets, to e-vouchers and even a couple of cryptocurrencies. We should mention, though, that the conditions for each of these payment methods are also quite fair. So, let's take a look at them, and the currencies you could use to cash in:

Neteller$10UnspecifiedInstantFree
Skrill$10UnspecifiedInstantFree
Paysafecard$10UnspecifiedInstantFree

MiFinity$10UnspecifiedInstantFree
Crypto$20UnspecifiedInstantFree

Currencies: Euro (EUR), Canadian Dollar (CAD), New Zealand Dollar (NZD), US Dollar (USD), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Bitcoin (BTC)

In general, casinos tend to require around $10-$20 as a minimum deposit. This is the case here. The majority of payment options allow for deposits as low as $10, and cashing in via crypto has a minimum of $20. We find that to be a very competitive aspect of the casino's policies.

However, the maximum amounts you can cash out are nowhere to be found. We are fairly sure they are different for the different deposit methods. For instance, e-vouchers tend to have very low maximum deposits, and crypto has higher amounts you can cash in, in general. But we would have liked to be able to give you the specifics!

There are no deposit fees by the casino itself. But you are probably aware that this does not mean there are no fees at all. In fact, there are going to be third party charges. Players are always responsible for covering them, and you should keep that in mind. Also, if you are cashing in via crypto, please note that there might be certain conversion fees that you will have to pay. Lucky10 does not open accounts in a digital asset as their base currency.

With that in mind, let's take a look at the casino's withdrawal policies as well:

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Credit/Debit Card$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
Neteller$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
Skrill$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
Interac$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
MiFinity$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
Bank$10$5000up to 48 hoursFree
Crypto$20$5000up to 48 hoursFree

There are less payment methods than with deposits. Notably, e-vouchers are missing. But that was completely expected, because you cannot use these one-time payment methods as a way of withdrawing. If yo have used them to cash in, you'll need to withdraw via a bank transfer. These transfers have a minimum amount of €10 if you are cashing out to a bank account from an EU country, or $50 for an international bank transfer.

The former amount is fair enough, and international transfers tend to have higher minimums, too. What's more, we should mention that most of the rest of the withdrawal methods with Lucky10 have $10 as their minimum, too. The only exception is once again crypto, with a $20 minimum withdrawal. We find all of these conditions to be acceptable.

The casino claims that you need to pass some kind of KYC check when you withdraw with a certain payment methods for the first time. This is said to take 48 hours at most, which we believe is fair. If you have not wagered your deposits at least 1x, the casino does say it will need some kind of “extra vigilance”, but what that means is not clear. What we do know is that wagering deposits that many times is a fairly common AML requirement you'd see in most casinos.

The time it takes to cash out once the KYC check is passed will depend on the specific payment you are using to withdraw. Bank transfers, for instance, can take up to seven days, but e-wallet withdrawals will be instant.

Finally, we should mention there are no fees by Lucky10 for withdrawing. Nevertheless, you will be required to cover the third party charges we mentioned before. What Lucky10 will charge you for is account inactivity:

This is another kind of clause we tend to see very frequently with casinos! It is also fair, in our view.

Games and Game Suppliers

There are exactly 47 Game Suppliers that have partnered with the casino to deliver its games. This is a decent amount of Suppliers all things considered. Most casinos tend to feature 50 on launch, and Lucky10 being three Suppliers short is no issue at all. Furthermore, the list of these casino software developers does include a bunch of very recognizable companies. Here's a list of all of them:

Game providers: Lucky, 1x2gaming, Mascot, 3 Oaks, Mr Slotty, Nolimit City, BetGames.tv, OneTouch, PGSoft, Betsoft, Big Time Gaming, Play'n GO, Play Pearls, Caleta, Playson, Endorphina, PragmaticPlay, Evolution, Qora Games, Evoplay, Quickspin, Fantasma, Reel Life Games, Fazi, Relax Gaming, Felix Gaming, Salsa Technology, Felt Gaming, Smartsoft Gaming, Fugaso, Spade Gaming, Games Global, Spinomenal, Gamzix, Spribe, Hacksaw, Swintt, Iron Dog Studio, Thunderkick, Kalamba, Tom Horn, Kiron, TPG, Leap-Gaming, Vivo Gaming

Now, what games does the casino have available? Let's take a look:

  • Slots: What we can appreciate about the Slots with the casino is that they are ordered  by their mechanics. There are Bonus Buy Slots, Jackpots and Megaways you can browse separate from each other. We also appreciate the fact that the casino also lets you filter them out by their providers. Finally, the Popular tab in the Slots section is excellent, because it allows you to find something new to play. Here's a bunch of the most recognizable slots you can find in this casino: Mustang Gold, Johnny Cash, Elvis Frog: Vegas, Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead, Gates of Olympus, Wolf's Gold and more.
  • Table Games: What better way to experience a classic table game than than from the comfort of your own home. With Lucky10, you can do just that, and play games like Baccarat, Poker, Blackjack, Roulettes  and so on with either a live or virtual dealer. There are 178 Live games in total, and while that's not the largest collection we've seen by a long shot, it does have more than enough games for anyone!
  • Game Shows: One fun experience, which you could only have with an online casino is taking part in a televised Game Show. The leading Game Supplier which offers Game Shows nowadays is called Evolution Gaming. Lucky10 partners with it, and so, you can play some of the best Shows available nowadays. Among them are titles like Crazy Time, Funky Time, Sidebet City, Crazy Coin Flip and even more. There are also game show formats like Deal or No Deal you can take a part in. So, if you've always wanted to be on TV, then, we can recommend giving a Game Show a try!

Conclusion

To sum everything up, Lucky10 is a competent enough casino. However, there are certain aspects of its services we don't like. These are mainly the lack of Recurring bonuses and the tying of the Cashback bonus to the Loyalty program. Other than the bonuses, though, Lucky10 is a competent enough casino. We think it's a safe place to play. The games library is quite decent, and met our expectations. But if you are looking for a better casino to play in, you can easily find several. Just check out the reviews of our recommended houses, and you'll see why we think that Lucky10 could do better!
