Playhooley is the newest brand of Aspire Global International LTD – a well-known Maltese company that is behind several very successful casinos with great reputations. Although we had a lot of big expectations for this house, we are not exactly satisfied with their final offer. This is surely a very reliable casino that offers fairly decent conditions – but not much more than that. Rarely have we seen a casino that offers such unimpressive bonuses – or one that might charge fees on deposits. The game library was good if you are a fan of slots and unimpressive if you are a fan of anything else.
Playhooley is by no means a bad choice – but it is far from a great choice especially considering the fact that some of the other brands operated by the same company offer much better conditions. Read the full review below and decide for yourself.
Playhooley Bonuses
Playhooley offers very few bonuses compared to what you would usually get with most successful casinos. We are used to expecting various enticing promotions, including Welcome Packaged, various Reload Bonuses and Free Spin promotions, Cashback and Rakeback programs, and Seasonal Bonuses. Moreover, the bonuses this casino did offer were not exactly impressive and did not come with very clear conditions. Keep in mind that players from Sweden will not be allowed to activate bonuses. Here is everything Playhooley has in store for clients:
Bonus | Min deposit | Max bonus | Wagering requirements | Cash out limit |
Welcome Offer | €10 | 100% up to €200 + 100 spins | 35x | - |
Rewards Program | Unspecified | €200 | Unspecified | - |
Birthday Bonus | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified |
The casino's Welcome Offer is made out to look like a single bonus at first when in fact it is more of a Welcome Package. When you first deposit €10 or more, you will get a bonus of 100% up to €200 and 20 free spins. If you deposit €20 the following day, you will get 40 additional free spins. If you deposit €20 on the third day, you get 40 more spins. The wagering requirements for all of these bonuses are 35x which is quite standard. You have 21 days to wager the bonus.
The casino offers some sort of Birthday Bonus but it did not provide any specific information about this promotion.
Finally, there is a Rewards Program that will probably be of interest to more active players – but once again, not all the conditions were very clear. The more you play with the casino, the more points you accumulate. The more points you have, the higher your account level could be. Top-tier clients could get access to special perks such as account managers and faster cashouts. Moreover, it seems like the more active you are, the more spins you will get in the Sunday Spins promotion (the casino did not provide information about what the promotion actually is). Top players might also get additional bonuses on their deposits but no exact conditions about those promotions were provided. Although this Rewards Program seemed fairly interesting, we do not have sufficient information to estimate if it is that attractive.
Playhooley License
Playhooley is owned and operated by Aspire Global International LTD – a company most serious players are probably familiar with. This Malta-regulated company is behind several very successful casinos and has established itself as a respected enterprise that usually manages to deliver on its promises and provide players with a satisfactory gaming experience. Since Aspire Global International LTD – and all of the casinos it operates – is regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), you have nothing to worry about in terms of safety – this is one of the top-tier regulators in the gambling industry.
Playhooley itself seems like a reliable choice. The casino offers a large variety of responsible gambling tools which is a good thing and to be expected from a brand of such an established company.
Casino operators must pass a rigorous regulatory process and uphold the highest standards in order to be granted a license to operate in Malta. This includes various strict responsible gambling, game fairness, and player protection policies. The goal of the Maltese regulatory system is to create a gaming environment that is safe, fair, and transparent for all players. The MGA gives player protection a lot of attention; casinos must have policies that discourage underage gambling and encourage responsible gaming. These casinos include a range of features such as individual deposit caps, time-out alarms, and outside resources for those at risk of gambling addiction. Operators must put in place robust anti-money laundering procedures to stop financial crimes like funding terrorist organizations and money laundering.
The MGA regularly assesses licensed businesses to make sure they stay compliant with the set criteria. Operators are required to guarantee that information regarding the odds and regulations of games and promotions is provided to players clearly and concisely. Certified random number generators, or RNGs, are used to ensure that games are entirely random and fair.
Casinos with a Maltese license can provide services anywhere in the world which makes this sort of license an attractive option for operators. Online casinos benefit greatly from Malta's tax structure since it offers favorable conditions to such companies. These things, along with the credibility a Maltese license brings, are enough to explain why so many companies choose to become regulated in this particular country.

Playhooley Deposit and withdrawal
Currencies: Euro (EUR), British Pound Sterling (GBP), US Dollar (USD)
Playhooley offers a decent variety of payment methods including credit/debit card, wire transfer, prepaid vouchers like Paysafecard, e-wallets such as Skrill, Neteller, and PayPal, and various cryptocurrencies.
The minimum deposit amount is very low – just €10, and all deposits are processed instantly. Most payments are also processed free of additional fees – unless you are depositing with PayPay in which case you will have to pay a 3.1% deposit fee. That is quite surprising since few casinos charge fees on deposits – and payment fees as a whole.
Deposit method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Crypto | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
PayPal | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | €3 |
Skrill | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Neteller | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
CashToCode | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Paysafecard | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
AstroPay | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
EcoPayz | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
Bank | €10 | Unspecified | Instant | Free |
The withdrawal conditions were far less clear. The casino did not specify minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts, or whether or not we could expect to be charged withdrawal fees – but since they charged fees on some deposits, fees on some withdrawals are also to be expected. What is even more surprising is that they did not offer information about the rollover requirements clients have to reach before making withdrawals – and this is a common condition with most casinos, especially Maltese ones. Such establishments usually ask you to roll over your deposits 1 to 3 times before allowing withdrawals to prevent money laundering.
Withdrawal method | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time | Fee |
Credit/Debit Card | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 6 days | Free |
Crypto | Unspecified | Unspecified | Unspecified | Free |
PayPal | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 48 hours | Free |
Neteller | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 48 hours | Free |
Skrill | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 48 hours | Free |
EcoPayz | Unspecified | Unspecified | up to 4 days | Free |
Another thing we did not like was the outrageously slow withdrawal processing. Credit and debit card withdrawals might take up to 6 business days which is outrageous. If you are withdrawing via an e-wallet, you can expect faster withdrawal processing but you might still have to wait 2 to 4 business days depending on the e-wallet you are using.
The casino did not mention specific daily and weekly withdrawal limits – but it does seem that the maximum amount of money you will get to withdraw each month is as high as € 50 000. This is very liberal, especially for a regulated Maltese casino and we have to say we were quite impressed.
Playhooley Games and game suppliers
Playhooley works with a fair share of the most well-known and established game providers in the industry – you can check out some of them below:
Game providers: Play'n GO, Authentic Gaming, PragmaticPlay, Microgaming, Blueprint, Evolution, Yggdrasil, Ezugi, Lightning Box, Tom Horn, Salsa Technology, Gamevy, Hacksaw, Atomic Slot Lab, Skywind, Oryx, Red Rake, Eyecon, ISoftBet, IGTech, Betsoft, Playson, Wazdan, Spinomenal, High 5 Games, Leap-Gaming, Stakelogic, Betixon, Gamomat, Skillzz Gaming, Ggames, RubyPlay, Ainsworth, Booming Games, PariPlay, Amatic, Quickspin, Other
The casino is also partnered with smaller, lesser-known studios which means that they are aiming to provide a decent variety of games. Keep in mind, however, that some casinos collaborate with as many as 100 or more game providers and can therefore offer far more impressive game libraries. As a whole, Playhooley's catalog of games was decent – but far from astonishing. The casino offers a good number of games but fans of more casual entertainment such as crash games, Mines, Scratch Games, and Bingo will be disappointed since there are no such sections. Sports betting is also not possible. Moreover, the casino's game library was not exactly well-organised which made individual games hard to find.
The Slot section featured popular titles like Book of Dead, Big Bass Bonanza, Starburst, Majestic Wild Buffalo, Fire Joker, Wanted Dead or a Wild, Majestic King, Wolf Riches, Sakura Fortune, Wolf Fang, Immortal Romance, etc. The variety of themes and mechanics was decent – we have no beef with this part of the casino's offer.
The online table game section offered a limited amount of games – less than 60 games in fact. Moreover, this section was badly organized and also featured some titles that definitely did not belong there. This is quite disappointing considering the fact that plenty of casinos can offer a few hundred such games.
The Live Casino section also failed to impress us – although the variety was good, the number of games was very limited. Players will get to play casino-based games like Roulettes, Blackjack, Video Poker, Baccarat, and Dice, and will also get to access some Game Show options – Deal or No Deal, Monopoly Live, Crazy Time, Dream Catcher, etc. The options, however, were very few.
Playhooley might be able to satisfy the needs of slot players since the casino's game library was fairly good when it came to this section. Everyone else, however, will probably be disappointed.
Conclusion
Playhooley is a casino we can describe as average. Although the casino is a brand of a respected company and is very safe to work with, the conditions they offered were far from impressive. The slot catalog was good but the selection of online table games and live games was slim. Bonuses were few, and not among the most attractive we have encountered. Although the casino offers a variety of payment methods, it does not offer very clear withdrawal conditions and might make clients pay transaction fees and wait for an outrageous amount of time for withdrawal processing.
Playhooley is not a bad casino – but it is not a great casino either. As a whole, we believe that there are far better options out there if you are looking for a satisfying gaming experience.
