Spinstralia Review: Scam or Safe?

Spinstralia Review: Scam or Safe?

Spinstralia is a peculiar casino apparently targeting players from Australia. The house has some really weird aspects, the first of which is one of their domain names that doesn't in any way suggest you are entering a casino – beoutdoorsafe.org. Now, that was previously a website dedicated to foresting, camping, recreation activities, wildfire preventing and stuff like that. Currently, it's a casino, but we can't share much details about how the transformation occurred, why and so forth.

There are more weird things to note, as well. For example, Spinstralia has another domain – spinstralia.com that's absolutely identical, but no one outside of Australia can access it. Beoutdoorsafe.com, however, can be accessed from literally any country with no restrictions whatsoever. The latter is apparently the global version of the casino, but it's worrying that anyone from anywhere can access the casino. They definitely breach regulations in many countries, and that's a bad sign.

That said, we aren't really surprised from this behaviour because Spinstralia isn't a licensed casino. By far that's the worst aspect of it, but there are other issues to discuss, as well. In the following review, we'll provide you with all details you need to know about Spinstralia, so let's start with the bonuses.

The bonuses of Spinstralia are good enough. They have a Welcome Package in 4 deposits with a total prize of up to 2000 AUD and 50 free spins added. From information in the TCs, we know that in different times the prize could be higher – up to 5000 AUD and could include up to 150 free spins, which is definitely a very good welcoming offer. It's currently not active, though.

Another thing we liked about the bonuses are the Christmas daily gifts – from 1st to 25th of December 2023, players can open mystery boxes and get some prizes. Unfortunately, no awards are specified, but nonetheless, players have the chance to claim bonuses. And that's not all, since the mystery boxes are practically no deposit bonuses for the first week – players only need to login to open the box. Let's see some more details about each and every bonus, now:

  • First Deposit Bonus – players should deposit at least 25 AUD for the first time to get 150% up to 500 AUD and 50 free spins in the slot Wolf Gold. The wagering requirement is 40 times for both cash and spin prizes, while cash-out limit is not specified for any promotion whatsoever.
  • Second Deposit Bonus – with their second deposit of 25 AUD or more, players get 100% up to 500 AUD. The wagering requirement is still 40 times.
  • Third Deposit Bonus – the third deposit of 25+ AUDcomes with a prize of 150% up to 500 AUD. The wagering requirement is 40 times.
  • Fourth Deposit Bonus – in the last part of the Welcome Package, the deposit is still 25 AUD, while the prize is 100% up to 500 AUD. The wagering requirement is unchanged – 40 times before a withdrawal.
  • Christmas Daily Gifts – from 1st to 7th December players get a no deposit gifts once they login and open the bonus box. From 8th onwards, however, they should place at least 50 AUD if they want to open a bonus box. Unfortunately, it's not revealed what the prizes look like, but any award will be either a cash bonus or free spins added on a certain games. Wagering requirements and cash-out limits are also not specified.
  • Christmas Chaos – once in December 2023, players can get a bonus of 200% with no max prize specified and 100 free spins in the slot Ultra Hold and Spin. The required deposit is 50 AUD. Another Christmas bonus is also advertised – 250 AUD and 100 free spins in Fire Strike with no deposit required, but for the latter one, there is absolutely nothing specified, so we can't really confirm its existence. Wagering requirement and cash-out limits are not specified.

License

The biggest problem of Spinstralia is that the casino operates without a license, and that's a serious issue. From the TCs, we know that the house is operated by a company named Spinstralia Casino, but it's absolutely anonymous and untraceable, so we can't even confirm its legal existence. A weird fact about Spinstralia is that they claim that the gaming activities of the company are governed by Curacao laws. That suggests that the house is actually registered on the island, which is a hub for gaming companies, and it's literally bustling with online casinos. Even if their claims are true, nothing would really change. At the end of the day, Spinstralia is still an unlicensed and practically anonymous casino that's not safe for players. See why it's not a good idea to deposit and play in unlicensed casinos like Spinstralia.

  • No regulation – unlicensed casinos are not regulated by any authority, meaning there's no guarantee that the games are fair or that the casino will let you withdraw your money. It's unlicensed, which means that no one can make them follow the rules.
  • Security – unlicensed casinos may not have strong security measures protecting players' personal and financial information.
  • Legal issues – gambling at an unlicensed casino can be illegal depending on your country's laws. Therefore, you may face legal consequences if you wager in unlicensed casinos.
  • No disputes – if you have problems with an unlicensed casino, you have no way to initiate a dispute since they are not accountable to any regulatory bodies.
  • Unethical practices – unlicensed casinos might employ unethical practices, like offering rigged games or using deceptive advertising. And since they are unregulated, no one can stop them from being unfair with players.
  • Addiction and financial risks – unlicensed casinos might not offer responsible gambling tools, such as self-exclusion, for example. If you end up wagering in an unlicensed casino, the risks are definitely increased. More so, some unlicensed casino intentionally promote and encourage irresponsible playing.

Back to Spinstralia, they state that the casino is closed in certain countries, but that's not actually true since we were able to register an account from a place that's said to be prohibited, which is a worrying sign. Nonetheless, see the places where Spinstralia says to be closed for registrations.

The deposit policy of Spinstralia is poor. They accept only bank cards, so players won't have any other options. It's true that bank cards are the most widely used method for casino deposits, but there are some downsides to it. One such is that players will have to share their card details, and that may cause problems. For one thing, not everyone wants their bank cards shared in casinos, so they usually choose e-wallets which may be considered safer when it comes to privacy. On the other hand, Spinstralia isn't licensed and regulated, so no one knows how secure the casino is, which is an issue from a totally another level. Using bank cards for deposits in unlicensed casinos is not the brightest idea, keep this in mind.

Anyhow, the minimum deposit is good – just 20 AUD, while the maximum is somewhat low – no more than 500 AUD per transaction are accepted. Each deposit is instant and free.

Withdrawal methodMinimumMaximumProcessing timeFee
Credit/Debit Card50 AUD500 AUDup to 48 hoursFree

In the same fashion, withdrawals are only possible via bank cards. The minimum withdrawal is a bit high – 50 AUD, which happens to be at least twice the industry standard that is €10 to €20. The maximum per transaction matches the daily withdrawal limit – 500 AUD. The other limits are as follows: 3000 AUD per week and 10 000 AUD per month. Spinstralia's withdrawal caps are not the best you will come across as many casinos allow up to 50 000 AUD monthly. The difference is significant.

The withdrawal request processing time is up to 24 hours free of charge, which is a sound condition. However, it will apply only if players have completed the rollover requirement of 1 time, meaning that deposits should have been wagered once before a withdrawal. Failure to do so will result in a massive fee – 30% on the withdrawal. Now, the rollover is a standard gaming and AML condition, so you shouldn't worry about it. What's worrisome is that the penalty fee is way worse than industry standard. Usually, casinos will impose 8% to 10%, not 30%, so Spinstralia's provisos are definitely subpar.

There is no information about inactive accounts, which is a miss we should note. We all want casinos to be as open and fair as possible so that no TCs are missing and players are rest assured that they are in a safe place. Spinstralia first of all doesn't have a license, and secondly, it hides some gaming conditions, so it's safety and fairness is seriously questionable.

Games and Game Suppliers

The gaming library of Spinstralia is not good either. They have games from a small number of gaming studios, so there isn't much of a variety. It's true that all providers are leaders, but nonetheless, it's always better having games from 100 or so gaming studios. Speaking of games, see what you can find in Spinstralia.

  • Slots – here are some slots from the New category: Sugar Rush, Chilli Willie, Buffalo Thunderstacks, Bonanza Gold, Take Olympus, Grand Tiger, Dragons Gift, Billyonaire Bonus Buy, Pyramid Bonanza, Oktober Fest, Starlight Princess, Lucky Zodiac, Wild Shark Bonus Buy, Dragon Mystery, A Book of Aztec Bonus Buy, etc.
  • Instant Win/Arcade – 8 provably fair games are available: Plinko, Rocketman, Fishing God, Fishing War, Aviator, Paradise, JetX and Alien Hunter.
  • Live Casino – not a single real dealer live game, which comes as a massive disappointment. In 2023, you can't call yourself casino if you don't offer Live games – Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette and so forth.

Conclusion

Aussies looking for new casino will most likely come across Spinstralia. What they should know about it is that the house is substandard and doesn't deserve their attention. Most importantly, the casino is unlicensed and practically anonymous, so it's not a safe place where players can spend some quality time. Apart from that, the casino doesn't have Live games, accepts only one deposit/withdrawal method, can impose highly unfair fees, and is overall not an attractive place. The bonuses are generally good, and that's why we give Spinstralia 2 stars instead of 1, but the promos cannot compensate for the downsides. You should find a better casino, that's our verdict.
